Chapter Forty-Seven "Put your shoulder into it!" Jaico barked out as the driver gunned the truck. Mud and debris shot out from under the back tires. "I am for crap's sake." After they were coated for the third time, Jaico called a halt to it. He got the driver out of the truck, even though he said in broken English that his only responsibility was to drive. Using an ax from the truck and hunting knives, they cut branches off several trees and cut down a few of the smaller trees. They piled the stuff under the truck, covering as much of the mud hole as they could. They shoved several twigs in front of each rear tire. The driver got back into the vehicle.
