Kaiden slowly opened the door, afraid that he might wake up his mistress, Vanessa. she still has the angelic face even when she sleeps, Kaiden smiles and kisses her forehead. they're living under the same roof, leaving his wife in their mansion alone. Camilla Fergero on the other hand is laying in their bed sobbing, she cried all night. this is what she looks like every night when her husband is not home. she knows what he was doing all the time but keep acting like she didn't know anything. A sudden knock startled her and she quickly fixes her hair and wiped out her tears. she practices her smile for a second expecting that it was her husband and made her way to the door and opened it. A smiling face of her sister in law greeted her, she frowns and smile but her sister's smile faded when she saw her, she looked down slowly and smile. "Leti, what are you doing here?" she asked. Leti frowns and replied "Since when he's not coming home?" she asked. this question is not new to her so she casually replied "5 days" she tried so hard not to breakdown in front of her sister in law but she failed. She sobs so hard and cried, she looks helpless and pitiful. Leti quickly hug her and patted her back trying to comfort her but it's not working, she pulled her into the bedroom and hugs her till she gets tired. her shirt is now soaked in tears, Camilla fell asleep. She looked at the skinny girl laying down the bed, her cheeks still has the mark of tears and her puffy eyes is still visible due to crying so hard. she pulled up the covers and leave the room to let her rest, Letisha knew about this happening 1 year ago but Camilla beg her not to interfere and keep things cool and hidden, so she kept quiet for the sake of her sister in law. "this s**t must stop" she murmured and leave the mansion On her way home, she spotted the car of her brother near the cafe. she parked her car and entered the cafe, she saw her brother sitting alone. she wants to confront him and stop this s**t but she was stopped by the familiar figure walking towards her brother. It was Vanessa Milligans a famous model and labeled as world's number one mistress. She walks towards them but stopped again because of a sudden phone call. when she saw the caller id she quickly get out of the cafe and answered the call. "Camilla, what's the matter?" she asked. but Camilla didn't answer, she tried to hear what was happening on the other line but it's so quiet, a few minutes later she heard a loud bang from the other line, Her heart beats faster and her body shiver. A noise in the other line gets louder and louder till she hears someone saying "Call the ambulance, hurry! Madam is in danger hurry! hurry!" and with that her tears falls down, she couldn't move. a minutes later she hears people talking on the other line "Get out the way!" "Ma'am can you hear me?" "She has gunshot near her chest" "Clear out the way!" they're shouting and you can hear the maid's voices, theyre crying and sobbing. She tried to enter the cafe again but she noticed that the car of his brother is now out of sight so she drove back to her brothers mansion. The ambulance is gone but still there's a few men dressed with policeman uniforms searching the area and some are interviewing the maids, once they saw her they ran into her "Madam Leti, Someone wants to kill Madam Camilla. someone shoot her from the outside of the window" the maid cried infront of her. You can see in their faces that they really love Camilla, she's nice to everyone, she has the purest heart but her goddamn brother ruined the goddess's heart. She followed the ambulance and tried to call her brother but he's not reachable. she try once more, after a few rings he answered it "Letisha. what do you want?" he asked. "I want you to come over here at the hospital someone shoot your wife! i swear if your child died because of your bullshits i will kill you with my own bare hands!" she sneered. and that's when she realized that her sister in law's secret is now revealed. She felt guilty but she didn't regret it, She ends na the call and followed Camilla to the Emergency room. few moments later, Kaiden arrived. An icy cold look flashes through his face, he didn't look into her sister's eyes when he asked "What happened" she let out a cold and icy chuckle then answered. "What happened? Kaiden you're her husband and you don't know what was happening to your wife!? i bet you didn't know she's pregnant!" you can saw in his eyes that he's hurt and shocked. Letisha was surprised. just before she could scold her brother, The doctor came out. "Guardian of Mrs. Camilla Fergero?" the doctor called out. Kaiden raise his hand and came closer to the doctor "how's my wife?" he asked. The doctor frowns "She's comatose for now and it wasn't clear when she'll wake up, the gunshot was so close to her heart and makes her body give up. But, if it wasn't for the baby she's now dead. But, the baby in her womb make her heart beats again. She's lucky if she survive Mr. Fergero." the doctor told him and excuse himself. Kaiden look at Letisha and attempt to leave but before he could step out his feet outside the door, Letisha spoke "It was all your fault, you don't even know that she's pregnant, you don't know that she's not sleeping because of you! she cries every night because of you! she give you everything and this is how you pay her? let me ask you Kaiden, you're the one who choses her to be your wife. You ruined this angel's heart!" after finishing her sentence she burst out crying and leave her brother stunned, He almost forgot that he's the reason why Camilla is his wife.
