Chapter 6A couple weeks later I was basking in the sun on the rocks bordering the river, while Drakein cleaned the fish he’d caught. The roar of the huge river was muted by the sheer height of the cliff. The sides were a silvery gray rock with veins of glittering colors. Some were a dark purple while others were shades of orange. Splashes of teal moss and white flowering vines dotted the steep walls.
