Alex's POV

I stared at the new girl through the review mirror pissed off. She was the definition of annoying. Everything about her was so ridiculous and annoying and I could not believe she was spending a night in my place. I had never hosted anyone in my apartment and she was the first one. I hated sharing things but she come in and the first thing she did was use my shower gel. I restricted myself to kick her out right there and then. Her actions angered me so much and don't remind me of her mouth. She spoke the most absurd things like how I had shared the girls I had been with. What did she know about the girls I had been with?

And what was wrong with her anyway? Why was she not all over me like the rest of the girls? I hated the attention I got from girls because it was very annoying but what was more annoying was this girl who had months of the year as her name, not sucking up to me. If anything, she was just as annoyed with me as I was with her.

"Dude, why are you staring at me?"she asked when our eyes met through the review mirror in the car.

I hated that Marcus had to give her a ride and he also offered to buy her snacks. What was she because ever since I met her, she was always wanting things. She wanted me to share my apartment with her. She wanted my WiFi password then she wanted me to give her a ride. Was she aware I gave no one rides on my motorcycle? She was wrecking my life and making me do things I hated doing and that made me hate her so much. Now, she wanted Marcus to pay for her snacks. Why was she like this? I had never met a girl like her.

I looked away from the review mirror and ignored her question. I did not have to answer her.

"By the way April, there is a small gathering in my apartment of just my friends. Would you like to....."

"No."I rejected what Marcus was trying to say. There was no way he was inviting this nerdy girl in our friend group.

"Alex, she is cool. She might be weird but she is smart."Marcus said stopping at a mini-mart.

" That is a description of a nerd you i***t. She cannot....."

"You two need to stop insulting me. I am right here."December said interrupting me.

I glared at her. "Nobody cares October."I snapped at her.

"I am inviting her Alex." Marcus said with finality and I glared at October harder. Had this girl been sent to solely annoy and anger me?

Marcus looked at her smiling. "Hey April, join us after we get snacks. We are having a fun group meeting with my friends."he told her.

December girl shook her head. "No, I do not attend parties."I rolled my eyes at how ridiculous she sounded.

"It is not a party. The party was rescheduled so me and my friends decided to meet at my place to have a little bit of fun. We are here to get some snacks for the group."Marcus told her and he annoyed me. Why was he being nice to her? I get that she was pretty, very pretty I had to admit but she did not deserve kindness. Maybe I hated her so much such that a single simple thing about her annoyed and pissed me to death.

"I don't know Marcus. I......."

"Good, we are heading to my place after this."Marcus said not letting her finish her statement which I was sure she was rejecting Marcus's offer. How much did Marcus want her with him? Did he like her? It would make no sense if he did like her. Like I said, she was pretty but that did not qualify as Marcus's type. Marcus had a history of dating girls that were outgoing.

" You don't listen to me Marcus. It's not nice."October complained.

Marcus shrugged. "You have a boring life. Why would I listen to you make lame excuses to escape from the fun I am offering you. You need to get out more April instead of burying yourself in books and being allergic to fun. You live a depressing life."Marcus told her and he opened his door to get out.

I suddenly did not feel like accompanying him to the store to get whatever snacks the guys back at his place wanted. December got out of the car too. Marcus bent down to stare at me questioningly when I made no effort of getting out. "You aren't coming?"he asked.

"No."

"Oh, nice."he said and closed the door. They left with November. I closed my eyes leaning back in my seat and just when I had fallen asleep, I heard a knock on the side of my window. I groaned opening my eyes then I rolled my window down and I was met with Tamara, or Tamika maybe Tarawa. I was not sure what her name was. What was she doing here?

" What ?"I angrily asked her.

" Hey, chill out dude I was coming to the store and I saw you sleeping. I thought you looked familiar." I just stared at her wishing she would just shut up and let me go back to sleep. "Don't you remember me? We had s*x three days ago at Dan's party. You did not call me back after I wrote my number on your palm."She said smiling and I just bluntly stared at her. Was she crazy?

"I do not call people back. What we had was just s*x, nothing more."I told her. She blinked confused and I wondered why she was. Didn't she know I did not do the stupid relationship stuff? What made her think she was special enough to make me call her back?

"But I thought we had something?"

"You were being delusional Tamara."I told her.

She gasped shocked and I knew I got her name wrong. "It is Tamika."she corrected. I just kept quiet wondering what she wanted from me. I heard her chuckle running her fingers in her hair frustrated. "You stupid jerk. You are an asshole Alex."She yelled at me.

"What is going on?" Thank god for Marcus's intervention. Marcus stared at Tamara or Tamika. I had already forgotten her name.

"Of course it is one of Alex's asshole friends."She rolled her eyes then her eyes travelled to July and she smirked at her mockingly. This was getting interesting. "Listen to me, this asshole,"She pointed at Marcus. "He is just using you so you better dump his ass when you can."She told July sizing her from head to toe then she walked away angrily. She thought June was Marcus girlfriend? Talk about stupid assumptions.

July was as confused as ever watching Tara's back.
