After knocking three times, I closed my eyes and waited for him to open the door. Parang sasabog ang dibdib ko sa kaba na nararamdaman ko galing sa aking puso. I suddenly have the urge to p**e, to pee, or just run away dahil dito. After several seconds of waiting, there was no response. I opened my eyes, only to see the door still closed in front of me.
Nagtaka naman ako. I knocked again three times and waited for Cairo to open the door for me.
Hindi pa rin niya ako binuksan ng pinto at napagtantuhan kong baka hindi pa siya pwedeng tumayo mula sa kanyang hospital bed dahil hindi pa humihilom ang sugat niya mula sa pagkakabaril.
