[Cairo Gascon's POV]
I have been staring at the windows for what seems like hours because I literally have nothing else to do, aside from waiting for Sydney's arrival. Mom called me yesterday night as she told me that Sydney will be visiting me today. I could not help but smile after she said that because I want to know how she is.
I got up early since the attending nurse came into my room around 7:00 am while carrying my breakfast. Hindi na ako natulog pa ulit pagkatapos kong kumain kahit na sinabi ng nurse na dapat ay magpahinga ako pagkatapos. Instead, I played mobile games on my phone to keep myself busy, watched movies on the television, and sometimes just stared at the streets through the window beside my bed while waiting for her.
