Chapter 54Charlie used her phone as a flashlight, lighting up the path just enough so she could keep up her fast pace. Without the extra glow, she couldn't see the roots and rocks and holes that waited to trip her up.
According to the app on the tablet, she and Falstaff were on track...but not gaining any ground. The blinking red dot representing Donna's satellite phone stayed well ahead of them no matter how fast they moved.
