Hope's POV.
"You." I breathe when I turn around.
The hooded stranger is towering over me. He is standing close to me. Too close. So close that I can feel his warm breath on my face. I can feel my heart begin to race again. My entire body begins to shiver as adrenaline spreads through my veins. He keeps his face covered with the hood. I can't see anything beneath it except for a dark, menacing shadow.
"What do you want?" I breathe once again.
"We need to talk, Hope." "About the dangerous company that you're keeping." His voice is just as void of emotion as it was the first time that he spoke to me. It sends a shiver down my spine.
