Malakar watches me with a mixture of concern and suspicion. I'm not sure if I should tell him about Malachai. I'm also not entirely sure if I shouldn't. The only thing that I'm absolutely sure about at the moment is that I want answers. I want to know everything that there is to know. I want to know about werewolves, where they come from, how long they've been around, how they've managed to keep their existence a secret for so long. I also want to know about the hunters. Why do they do what they do? How do they do it? How does Malachai know about me, and why is he after Malakar and his pack?
I also want to know more about Malakar and this strange connection that I feel with him. I want to know what he means when he says that I'm his fated mate. I want to know why I feel so
