Before I Met You

Chapter Four

" As for your second sister, your gifts will be different from the rest of your siblings. And you must take care of it " said the unknown female #1 to the girl's second sister.

The last sister of the siblings was excited. She wants to know what it is. The unknown female #1 wave her hand to their siblings to come forward as well.

" Close your eyes first brother, second brother, first sister and second sister. I will cast a protection charm on all of you. Even if the jewelries can protect you; it won't be able to save you when you are really in danger " said the unknown female voice #1 to the girl's siblings.

The boys and girls approached her. They both took a deep breath. They both hold hands and build a circle around themselves. The unknown female #1 kneeled down towards them. She kisses the left eye of the first brother as she starts the incantation. She kisses the right eye of the second brother as she continues with the incantation. She kisses the left eye to the first sister to continue with the incantation. And finally, she kissed both eyes of the second sister as she ended the incantation.

" Do not rub your eyes first brother, second brother, first sister and second sister. It will leave you blind as you grow up. And your third sister will not be able to heal your eyes once you rub them " said the unknown female #1 to the girl's siblings.

They understood what the unknown female #1 says. Even though the voice is different; the body still belongs to their third sister. They want to know what this special gift is. But, they cannot ask any more questions. The unknown female #1 gave the last two boxes of jewelry to the first sister and second sister. They promise her that they won't misuse the jewellery. They would take care of it as if it's their own. And they will not lose the jewelry. Afterwards, the jewelry automatically was worn on their neck. It will act as a protection charm that their third sister gave to them. The girl's first sister had a beautiful set of jewelry.

She had strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing majestic earrings. The earrings could change shape how she wanted them. Currently the earrings are round like a circle. It fits her perfectly. Because it was also mood jewelry. The gems in the center would tell what emotions she feels. She also had a necklace, and bracelet. Her second sister has the same thing but different. Her first brother and second brother have the same thing as his sisters. The girl had a big feeling that death lurks in the shadows when she isn't looking. After her siblings put on the protection charm, she went back to the bed and she went back to normal.

The ice in the room disappeared altogether. As the ice disappeared in the room, so did the girl who went back to bed. Except for the man who was flying across the room. His body was literally touched by a dangerous cold ice. The other human man was shocked. He thought he saw the ice queen. An ice queen from the legend he always heard as a child. When he snapped back, he found the guy that hurt the girl laying on the floor. His body was turned into ice. He was afraid to move him, because if he moved him his body would shatter just like any normal ice. So, they try to call for help from a doctor. 

He left the room to get help, while the children just pressed the button to call for someone to come in here. After five to ten minutes, someone did come here. He was wearing a doctor uniform. But, the children hide themselves behind their little sister. They don't trust these people, they just see themselves. They saw four doctors and four nurses coming to the room.

" What's wrong? We heard the sound of someone pressing for help " and the voice of a first male doctor.

" Sir, I found an injured man lying on the floor " said the voice of a first female nurse with blonde hair.

" Uhm sir. We have a problem " said another voice of a second female nurse with a black hair.

Two male doctors came around with the other two female nurses. They saw the body of a man covered in ice. He was too cold to touch. Like he's already seeing death for the first time in his life. And he was already looking fragile to move him around. They are afraid to pick the man up off the floor. Since, they believed that if he was to get picked up; his body would shatter into a million pieces of ice. And once he starts to shatter from the drop then he can never be revived. He would die instantly from the ice. The other human man came back to the room. He noticed there were so many doctors and nurses. He heard doctors discussing what to do with the children.

One of the doctors suggested that they stay with their third sister. Another says to find a solution to wake her up from a coma. Third person says that they should find a house where all four could live together. The rest want to bring the children to an orphanage. A place where every kid is welcome to live in. A place where kids are either abandoned, no parents at all, etc. The guy; on the other hand, he was going to tell the doctors what he had witnessed. But, if he stopped himself from going any further. He's afraid that the doctors won't believe him. And the nurses will think the guy is handsome but he would be a crazy person. 

The children heard the word ' orphanage ' escape in their mouth. They were curious about what that does. But, at the same time; they found it scary to hear it. The children stayed with their little sister by standing by her side. A handsome tall man approached the room. He noticed the little girl sleeping. He seems to have a familiar feeling. But, he ignored that. He came into the room, because he heard that someone would put these kids to the orphanage.

" You don't have to put these kids in that sort of orphanage. These kids would get eaten alive by other children of their age " said a handsome tall man to the other doctors and nurses.

" What do you suggest we should do with these children? They won't move nor leave their youngest sister with strangers " said a female nurse with black hair and brown eyes to the handsome man.

" I suggest that these kids live with me, while they wait for their sister to wake up from a coma " said the handsome man as he said that to the doctor in a confident tone of voice.

" Okay fine we'll do it your way then " said the male doctor to the handsome man.

" But first let me let the children decide what they want. Since, they aren't an object or slave for me " said the handsome man to the doctors and nurse as he looked straight at the children.

The handsome man slowly walked towards these three kids. But, he stands in a far distance that isn't too far and not too close.

" Children, would you like to stay and live with me? I could adopt you instead of putting you to the orphanage. Because, if you kids go to the orphanage you would be separated from each other. Would you want that? " said the handsome man to the three kids.

The kids look at each other. They discuss with each other. And then they look at the adult. One of the boys spoke out for the other three kids that are his siblings.

" Us four agree with you " said the boy to the handsome man as he pointed all four of them to him.

" We four agree to live with you until our third sister wakes up from her coma " said the first boy to the handsome man.

" We don't want to be separated from each other if we end up in an orphanage, " said the first girl to the handsome man.

" We want to still keep in touch with our little sister. Since, right now; she's in a coma and won't wake up yet " said the second girl with a sad face to the handsome man.

" That's fine with me. I'll adopt you four kids as my children, so that you could live freely in my house. At the same time, you four can visit your little sister in the hospital to keep in touch with her " said the handsome man to the four kids.

The four kids are in the same agreement. And they knew that this man who would adopt them would be a good person to trust with. The four kids and the handsome men wanted a solidified document saying that the man will adopt them. They want proof of everything. The man didn't want to get in trouble. The necklace that the four kids have starts to react to the man. The necklace seems to indicate that the man is a good person. The necklace starts to float and is automatically worn on the neck of these four kids. The necklace is a protection charm given to them by their youngest sister. 

It's a way to protect them in her place, since she is still in a coma. And so, everyone left the hospital room. They went back to what they were doing. The only one left was the four kids and the handsome men. He decided to bring the four kids to his home. The handsome men left the room and waited for them in the hospital lobby. The four kids hug their youngest sister.

" Little sister. This is not a goodbye from us. Because, we will come visit you everyday. We promise you we will " the little girl's first brother and second brother said as they looked at their first and second sister giving a sorrowful hug to their youngest sister.

" Thank you little sister for everything you have done for us. We know that the incident happened to our parents. It is never your fault, little sister " the first sister and second sister said to their little sister.

As they say that, a tear appeared on their little sister's face as they left the hospital room. The four kids left the hospital room to go to the lobby to meet their adopted father. The soul of the little girl sweeps out of her body. And she tearfully says her goodbye as if it's her last day to live.

" Thank you first brother, second brother, first sister and second sister. I will forever watch you from a distance. Because, when you come back, I won't be the same sister as I was before. I LOVE YOU! " said the two-year-old girl.

As the little girl tearfully says her own goodbye to her four siblings as she watches them leave the hospital room. Countless tears appeared on the little girl's face and the sound of the monitor started beeping. After the four kids left the hospital with the handsome man, they didn't know that death was coming. They would find it the hard way that someone they love will die. Once they left, the necklace took notice of what's to come. The necklace starts to cover the four kids with a special white light. A white light that lingers onto the only hope that would help its master. The necklace has now embodied themselves onto the four children. 

Their task was to protect these kids from danger while their master was away. And they are also sad. For the necklace to protect these kids from sadness and danger, they had no choice but to seal their memories within. Since, they left; they have nothing related to them anymore. Because the little sister that protected them from death sacrificed herself. Her human body is still here, but her human soul has been captured. The soul was now at the hands of another handsome man. But, this handsome man was none other than the death reaper. He took the shape of a human man. 

He has slender, masculine build, pure white skin and good body figure. His hair style was short cropped. His hair color was black hair and black eyes. He has to look the part of a death reaper right? His original look as a grim reaper that humans call it are all bones and skeleton. He has no flesh whatsoever. But, he was given the power to transform himself into a handsome man. He appeared next to the body of the little girl.

" It's still too early for this girl to die " as he rubbed his chin as he said that to himself.

" She did save her siblings from a near death experience. But at what cost? This girl is very special indeed " as the man sighed.

The death reaper noticed that the four kids were supposed to die. But, instead; their parents save them from dying. It was a life for a life. The kids have the reek of death. So, they would attract pretty much anything. The grim reaper has already appeared towards her parents. And he could tell that her parents aren't good people. There are things that even her parents kept from their children. And death or grim reaper knows what her parents are hiding from her. They even know the four kids' secrets as well. Since, he has a feeling that these four don't look exactly alike.

      * FLASHBACK*

Before the death of their parents

The newborn daughter that the woman gave birth to was in the crib. It wasn't time for her to meet her daughter. She was in the incubator with the rest of the nurses. As for the woman, she had a hard time breathing. It's as if her lungs are failing her. The husband of the woman didn't leave her. He sat in the chair by his wife's side. As he was sleeping, a handsome tall man appeared. He was wearing a black robe to cover his whole body including his face. He came to visit the married couple. He felt that their time was almost up. He senses a very powerful urge of power surging somewhere. 

The woman was sleeping in the hospital room. The doctor allowed her husband to stay by her side overnight. The handsome man wore special glasses on him. He looked towards the woman sleeping on the bed.

" Wow. This woman is a fighter. She stayed alive from all these years " said the unknown male voice #1 says as he takes a breath.

" But now, it's even more painful if I take her away from her children " said the unknown male voice #1 says as he takes a deep breath.

As he had his special glasses on, he could read her profile without going through her memories. And he felt disgusted at first towards her.

" Okay that is enough for me to go into her head. I am so disappointed in her. Who would want to marry her ? " said the unknown male #1 voice says to himself as he takes a deep breath.

He looked around. He noticed there was a man holding her hand. He had a feeling this man has feelings for her. And he also took notice of their wedding rings.

" Oh wow. Ok well there is a man who loves this woman. But, does he know her past too? " said the unknown male voice #1 says as he rubs his chin.

He shrugs his shoulders. And his special glasses went off. There was a beeping sound. The special glasses start to float into mid air. And it was automatically put onto the unknown man. He was shocked. His glasses have never done this before except now. The glasses lead him to this man in front of him. The glasses start to activate in letting him see through this man's memories.

" Oh no!! That's horrible. Omg!! Make it stop. I don't want to see this anymore " said the unknown male voice #1 as he tries not to throw up.

It didn't stop. He continues to watch his memories from the beginning until now. He was mad. He was furious. He felt annoyed. He starts to clench his fist tightly. He knows for sure that
