The growing silence became more terrifying as seconds passed. They huffled hitching breaths right after they entered. Pierce was standing in front of his open cabinet with its lock thrown on the floor. All of them didnt have the time to process what happen. Natalya could hear all the little crows' noise outside the window and inside was Pierce loading a crossbow that just added more to what she needs to process. "Its still black. I wonder where mom and dad is" Yulo blinked away from the window. "We should get out of here." She looked back at Pierce. "Yeah and that mist will take away your soul in a second" "s**t. How do you know this?" "I would have told you, but youre so eager to leave just a minute ago?" "Spare the crap, how do we get out of here?!" Natalya's frustration grew more and more when a smash came from outside.  They stared at each other. "Is that the wind?" Natalya has never saw a crossbow until Pierce stood behind the door carrying it with both his hands. "Why do you have that?" "Now is not the time to ask that lady." His gaze returned back to her after peeking, his eyes grew more fierce. "Stay here, dont make any move" Then he headed outside with his bow leading before his every step. The lights sparked dimly allowing shadow to cast on the corner of the living room. The ravens bestowed great darkness. Harbingers of shadows who tied with strings of the wolves. "I see her, with Yulo" Isabel opened her eyes, the hanging lamp swayed back and forth to her face and the empty red sofa. "Natalya, you can come outside" Ibrahim covered the room with his deep and dark voice.  "Ravens" Pierce held fury in his eyes. The light revealed his standing silhouette just in front of them. "Back off or ill shoot." "Well then-" Isabel held his hands to her brother's chest. She looked at him and the latter backed off. "Who are you? and what is she doing in this place?" He smirked. "Whatever business I have with this lady, its none of yours" "I beg to disagree" Ibrahim called claws in his hands then stared straight. The fate of the two siblings is in Pierce's hands. Growing up as a hunter quickened his grasp and knowledge of the valley, its worse than the town his roots are burried. He knows like the back of his hand that this creatures carries nothing but destruction, and hes not gonna let their hands touch the two. "Well Im glad the feeling is mutual" The arrow's tip pointed directly at the very person it aligned. Isabel stood unmoving when the door opened. Yulo paced outside four-legged. He stopped right beside pierce who quickly stanced and point the bow in his face. Natalya went on behind. "We dont have much time, your mom and dad already made it to Sinag, you two should follow now" The ground shook a little startling everyone. Ibrahim trailed the front door swiftly taking a glimpse outside. "We need to go now, its getting worse!" Yulo ran ahead just beside Isabel. He looked at his sister.  "Youre a wolf too, I knew I cant trust you!" Pierce pointed the weapon at her. The floor then almost collapsed and her unbalanced stance made her fell to the hard ground. "Lets get back now-" "Ibrahim!"  .. No one was left with a word in their tongue. Eyes wide open, the last of their sights was the wind pulling the raven. Isabel stood at the door just as an explosion hit them. It was the mist. Pierce lost his bow but he crawled nowhere near it. His body lead him to Natalya. "Are you okay?!" Her eyes glowed red, all senses unfolded. She sensed her brother smacked beside the wall. Get out of here. She thinked nothing else. Another wind of the mist sprawled straight among them closely hitting her if Pierce hadnt grabbed her before she can attempt to jump at her brother. Now theyre divided in the room, Ibrahim is still nowhere in sight and Isabel had finally gone to her sense. Isabel put her hands together pointing it to the mist. It swallowed the harrows it touches. "Get out of here! Im cant hold this long!" She shouted at the back. Outside, the Ivaroh signaled the black army to further inside. The front men are ready to purge. "Leave no one behind. And the stone. Dont forget the stone" His smile was darker than the mist. Holding The Purifier, he opened his palms and it released more fogs, darkening as they mix with the dead winds. Every second, it was growing thick and Natalya is loosing sight of her brother. Pierce was still holding her hand now with his weapon in the other. Yulo regained senses but saw no figure of his sister, instead he saw the raven slowly loosing momentum in her stand. "Yulo!" The wolf growled back to her. "Natalya you cant cross!" Pierce kept the strong grip breaking her attempt to run over the mist. Isabel cant hold it any longer, her eyes were dimming. Suddenly, a push behind her back put her out of balance then fell on top of it. It was the wolf. Yulo shouted his final growl before breaking the windows to the side and running over the thick black fogs. Isabel casted her final strenght to clear the black air in front of the wolf. She made the same fogs to keep them out of sight. "Im gonna get you brother!" Natalya can only scream now that shes left with no one but the hunter. Pierce smashed the bottom side of the drawers as the wind came closer pulling a small chest. "Isabel is gone." "She is with your brother" The fog is nearing them, Natalya stood in front of him, closing her eyes as it touches her skin. Then she felt warmth, Pierce brought out a red glowing stone and pulled her to the open window. Last traces of air disappeared as the fog took over the house creating a massive impact that blew the two away. Natalya didnt mind the force but Pierce rolled over the misted grass holding the stone in his hand. She shifted before the fog can reach them again carrying him in her back to run deep in the dark valley. She ran the fastest and never looked back. ----- The house regained its aura. "Its positive sir, they have the stone" "Magnificent! Im very well sure these spirits are brave enough to hold their stands. I hope they dont mind a little cat and mouse" Then his feet, of thick fur boots walked alone as the fogs disappear, and the night's moon rose.
