Lemon Candy

The stars and moon light up the sky during this afternoon night. The sun went missing for days said the elders on the streets that is why the stars and moon substitute the sun. No one knows what happened, but I won't just stop at that answer 'I don't know'. Instead, I will be the one who will find the sun and I will be the one who will encourage the sun to come back!
First, let me tell you how it all started...
Third sunday of May where everyone is in a hurry finishing the task that needs to be undone. Undone? Well, it is Sunday we should take a break and make our schedule clear for a day. It is not me who said that, that is from our tribe leader.
Since the people have many task to be undone, it took them a whole day to finish it during the day of the Sun; Sunday to be exact. When the night time comes, the sky went dark and it cries its heart out! I can still remember how my mother pinched me when I did not brought our clothes inside our house immediately and yeah, it's all wet again and it needs to be dried out again.
Okay! Back to what I am saying, after that day we never see the sun shining up in the light blue sky again. We can say that he is sad being forgotten during his day and that is why I am sorry for what had happened...
If only if I knew that it is possible, I should've not done that.
Later on, I felt someone who pokes me.
"Daisy, are you alright?" I heard my father asked as I come back to my senses.
"Yes, I am fine dad. I'm just thinking about the plot of my mythology story for the class tomorrow." I replied before I hug him.
He pulled away from the hug and pats my shoulder.
"You should not stress yourself too much, you are my daughter and I know you're the best! Eat this to freshen up." He said before giving me a candy that he got from his pocket.
I look at the candy and I frowned.
"Dad, you gave me a lemon flavor again! I might destroy my diet." I said prentending that it's annoying.
My father just laughs and shrug it off.
Well, forget about the 'diet'. I really love lemon flavored candy and I want to eat lots of it!
