“Mm!” I groan, opening my eyes, and I realize I’m in the river. The water is fast and powerful, but I see two big rocks and I swim closer to them and jam myself in the middle while I try to regain my senses. I see smoke in the sky, but I do not see the mine. All I can see are trees and the river is loud. Just then I remember Harlow. Oh God, no. “Harlow!” I call out to her, but there's no sign of her anywhere.
