“Dadddyyy!!” She screamed as she saw his dead body. “Don’t leave me daddy, I miss you. I miss you a lot,” “You’re a Blanc. Take what is rightfully yours.” “I can’t do it on my own, please,” she cried. “My Luna. You’re more than capable, keep your head high, and your eyes fixed on the prize, I’m always with you,” he said touching the necklace he gave to her when she was much younger. “Always remember,” his voice faded off into a whisper before he disappeared. “Daddyyyy!!!” She screamed as she woke up with tears in her eyes, drenched in sweat. She was panting heavily, her heart beating faster accompanied by a pounding headache that affected her already bad eyesight. She reached for her bedside table to search for her glasses when she realized it wasn’t there. “Where are my glasses?” She asked searching the top of the desk. She shut her eyes and opened them again having a little bit better vision. “Huh?” She wiped her eyes and opened them again, “huh?” She asked again as she looked around the room. “Where am I? What am I doing here? How did I…” she looked down at her body to find that she was in a big white shirt, with only her panties on. She touched every inch of her body, her eyes wide in shock. “Did I? Did I have a one night stand? Who? Oh who did I mess around with today?” She groaned as she fell back in bed. She got out of bed immediately searching the room for any kind of clue to let her know where she was. She opened all the cupboards throwing things out, running around looking for clues. She went over to his wardrobe where she found mini cabinets inside of it, she opened it immediately finding a photo album. “I’ll have a look at this first, before I get thrown off guard. Please don’t be ugly, please don’t be ugly,” she said as she crossed her fingers shutting her eyes tight as she opened the first page of the photo album. She opened her eyes immediately to find the first picture of Storm when he was young. “No! No no no no no no! This has got to be a joke!” She said anxiously flapping through the pages to find more pictures of Storm as he got older. “No! No! Nooooo!!!” She screamed so loud Storm heard the screeching noise from the ground floor hurrying up to the room where she stayed. He swung the door open, his wolf senses activated for danger only to find Rose with his photo album in her hand. “What are you doing snooping through my stuff you weirdo?!” “You?!” She screeched as she charged at him changing into a werewolves, digging her claws into him. Storm changed into a werewolf as well throwing her off his body snarling at her. Both of them, there in his big room, turned around in circles, growling and snarling at each other. How dare you! She snarled at him. They could understand each other even in their werewolf form, able to understand and to respond but others of course cannot understand. You ungrateful fool! I saved your life! Saved my life! Saved my life! Rose changed back into her human form in anger, “Even if I’m on my dying bed, I would never accept help from a Reed! Your family has caused me more pain than I can ever imagine!” She yelled at him. Storm changed back into his human form again, “You were about to be r***d!” He yelled back at her. “You were weak, helpless. Useless after embarrassing your family at the event last night.” “No! I would never do that. I don’t drink,” “Guess who did? You! You drank two bottles of vodka on your own! With no mixture whatsoever and all at once! You broke Dennis’s table in anger and stormed out.” “I don’t remember all of this,” “You were drunk woman! Drunk. Beyond your control.” “Who tried to r**e me?” She asked and he fell quiet, looking away. “Answer me Storm! Who tried to lay their filthy hands on me?!” “I don’t know them, you should at least be grateful that he never succeeded and you’re here, alive.” “Robin isn’t it? Robin did.” “How did you know? Who told you?” “You did, just now. Exactly my point. A Reed is a Reed. A family that consists of liars. Rapists.” “That’s enough Rose.” “No it is not enough. You’re killers! Murderers!” “No one is a murderer in my family!” Storm yelled pointing his index finger in her face as he stepped closer to her. “So you have never killed anyone in your entire life? Not even a fly?” She asked stepping in front of him. “You’re talking like you’re innocent. We both know the dirty businesses both of our families run in the underworld.” “Example? What do you think that we run? Illegal rum business owned by your father? The mafia? Killing innocent people for their lands?! Do you think that I don’t know about all of this?” “You know that I should actually kill you right here, right now and send your body to your beloved brothers for that stunt you pulled with my oil company.” “I’d like to see you try Storm, if I don’t rip you apart first and feed you to the birds, then I am not Rose Blanc.” There in the room, standing before each other, two enemies encouraged from childhood to hate one another. Breathing down on each other’s necks, eyes flicking back and forth between their normal colors and green and yellow. Growling at each other with no intention of striking, “Breakfast is ready!” Susan said squealing before she sensed the tension in the room. “Oh, the Blanc is still here? Hi Blanc,” Susan said waving her hand at her. “You must be the spoilt Reed I’ve heard so much about, it’s not a pleasure seeing any one of you. I need to go back home now.” Rose said as she began to turn around in circles, “I know I’m not one to mind my business so, I definitely won’t be minding mine right now,” “Storm my keys if you don’t want me to go full Luna on you.” “No matter the foolish differences your family and my family have, you should have the decency to thank my brother for saving you from the evil Robin,” Susan said as she leaned on the door frame. “Susan back to your room,” “I mean, Storm here is going to face a lot of backlash for sparing your miserable life instead of presenting your dead body as victory to my father who is clearly obsessed with wiping away your family.” “That’s enough family run down Susan! I’m calling your mother and telling her you ran away from school.” “She doesn’t like you so she’ll act it off as cool as she possibly can.” Rose stood in the room watching the step siblings argue back and forth. “Y’all are a bunch of weirdos.” “Just a friendly reminder that we have a meeting today at twelve noon to discuss what needs to be done for Dennis’s businesses.” “You’re working together?” Susan said with a bright smile on her face which turned into an outburst of laughter. “Whosoever put you two together to work side by side clearly does not care about his business being burned to the ground by the both of you. Putting a Blanc and Reed together is just like putting potassium chlorate and ordinary table sugar together with sulphuric acid as the catalyst. An explosive reaction, as they violently react with each other. Guess who violently reacts with each other? Blancs and Reeds. Interesting,” Susan said tapping her cheeks with a smile. “Susan, your theories are not helping,” “Asides with Chemistry, guess who else has a lovely chemistry going on?” “You’ve totally lost your brains girl! You have totally lost your head somewhere and you better go find it!” Rose said as she looked around the room for her belongings and keys. “Give me my keys Storm!” “You know Elizabeth and Darcy from Pride and Prejudice, I’m very sure you’re well aware of their love story. Guess in a few months time, both our families will be fighting, this time not just to kill each other but to separate to lovers born into the hate.” Storm threw the keys to Rose who caught them and hurried out of the house. “Tell me what time we should meet to discuss the business plans and proposals for Dennis.” Rose said to Storm. “I’ll text you the details.” “I’ll prefer we keep it professional and avoid the friendliness because I am in no way a friend of yours and never will I be. This hate will grow with me until my last breath.” “She’s so bitter, she needs to heal.” Rose flew from the door to Susan’s face with a burning glare in her eyes, her body boiling hot and her claws and hairs standing out, “When you’ve grown up spoilt, with never experiencing the death of your father or your mother, you of course will spew absolute rubbish from your mouth. She needs to heal you say, not when the murderer is roaming about freely and his insolent seeds stand there and call me bitter! You’re just a little girl, what the hell do you know? I will warn you, don’t cross limits with me, do you understand? I have not ripped your brother to pieces because this is only the beginning and we’re forced to work together. Don’t push my buttons young girl. Just don’t try me , you’ll hate me the rest of your life, because the scar that I’ll give to you will be worse than the imprint you get from someone you don’t even give a damn about!” With that she ran with speed to her car then sped out of their garage in anger, continually banging her fist against the steering wheel with tears in her eyes. “How dare she!? How dare she tell me to heal when the bloody cause of my pain is roaming about freely?! How dare they mock my pain?!” She cried as she drove, passing the speed limit set on the road. “They’ll pay. I’ll make sure to wipe off that smug on their proud distasteful faces! Everyone of them will weep tears of pain and grief!”. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ “Where are you coming from young lady?” She heard Jack’s voice coming from behind her as she climbed the stairs. She quickly wiped her eyes and turned to face him. “I’m a grown woman. I can handle myself so my whereabouts have absolutely nothing to do with you.” “It has everything to do with the family when you’re going about embarrassing our family name.” “Just one night Jack! One night that I slipped out of control!” “You’ve been giving everyone an attitude!” “Why wouldn’t ?! I’m the only one concerned about our father’s revenge! I’ve been thrown into the business circle to work with the son of the man who killed my father.” She said bursting into tears, “I’m tired! I’m tired that you my so called brothers are not even helping in anyway!” “Coming from your boyfriend’s place?” Stefan said eating cereals out of a bowl in his sweatpants and bare chest, “No. I’m coming from the enemy’s house after I was apparently saved from being r***d by his half brother.” She explained. “Hi! I’m Nelly, Jack’s girlfriend.” A blonde girl said was standing besides Jack with a smile on her face with her messy bed hair and overflowing night dress. “Yeah, so much for being a part of the family.” With that she walked up the stairs ignoring them. “What did you mean by r***d? Who r***d you?!” Jack asked. “And which of our enemies did you sleep off at?! Rose?!” Stefan asked as well but she ignored them all.
