“Rose open up your door this instant or else I’ll break it down!” Jack was about to knock the door for a second time when Rose opened the door and returned back to her mirror applying a mascara to her lashes.
“Where are you going to?”
“I have a meeting with Storm.”
“What are you having a meeting with the son of a murderer?!”
“Murderer? Really? Oh no he isn’t dear brother. Remember, there’s no evidence.” Rose said batting her lashes at him through the mirror.
“Rose enough with all of that nonsense. First you come from his house, next you’re holding meetings with the enemy, whose side are you on?”
“Sides?! Jack what sides? I have been the only one talking about and being concerned about the revenge of father and mother’s death. And I guess I’m fed up that my own family cannot support me, even went ahead and imprinted on a girl that I have never met before or heard about without consulting me, what happened to the three musketeers? I was almost r***d at a party and guess what, the enemy was the one who came to my rescue while my beloved brothers were having the time of their lives.”
“Lisa it’s not what you’re thinking.”
“I’m not having this conversation with you Jack if you’re not going to understand me? Aren’t you done yet? I still have to het dressed for my meeting.”
“We had been planning for the revenge of father, and mother.”
“Say that again,”
“I’m sorry Lisa but father implored me not to involve you in the dangerous side of business because…”
“Because I’m a girl! What on earth is wrong with all of you?!”
“Lisa calm down. He didn’t want you to get hurt, he didn’t want your hands to be stained with blood.”
“But yours can? And Stefan’s? But definitely not mine just because I’m a girl. You’re all forgetting that I’m a Luna and I’m more than capable of handling more dangerous situations than you lot can.”
“Can you tell me what happened last night? Did you sleep with him?”
“Jack!”
“What? You came home in his shirts and I definitely could see your underwear,”
“You p*****t!” She exclaimed throwing her brush at him. “I didn’t sleep with him, ew! I didn’t even know that I ended up at his place until I woke up this morning. His loud mouth step sister was home and she told me that he would receive back lash for hosting me at his house and beating up his step brother, Robin.”
“Robin tried to molest you? Again?!”
“But he wasn’t successful. Even though it sounds so disgusting and is very heavy for me to say, Storm was my saviour that night.”
“I guess that we are indebted to him, so a life for a life. Will keep that in my records,”
“Jack, I want into all of it. I’m a part of this family, you cannot shut me out and expect that we’d sail through. Let me tell you something, if we stick together, we have a serious advantage over the Reeds.”
“Explain.”
“They’re divided amongst themselves. It seems that Storm with all of his achievements has still not gotten on Dominic’s good side and his step mom and brothers are not fond of him either. The only ally he has is Susan.”
“And you knew this just by staying over for one night?”
“I knew it from their conversations.”
“A very crazy idea just got into my mind,”
“Spill.”
“One minute,”
“Stefan!!!” He called out. “Nelly!!”
“What are you doing?” She asked amused. Just then Nelly and Stefan walked into the room.
“What’s up?” Stefan said jumping on Rose’s bed.
“First of all, Rose, this is Nelly Stone.”
“When did you imprint on her?”
“It’s been a month. I was actually waiting for the right time to tell you.”
“When did you think the right time was? At Dennis’s party? You weren’t even the one who told me, Stefan did.”
“Hey! Don’t drag me into your fight you two.”
“You’ve been so bitter and angry, I thought that if I told you I had found someone, you’d be pissed.”
“Who says I’m not pissed? Jack you called me bitter. How do you expect sweetness in my life when my parents are dead, my brothers keep secrets from me and I’m carrying an entire burden all on my own!”
“I want to make things right now.”
“Make it right, how? I came back from their house, they called me bitter.”
“You know if two people confirm one thing and they aren’t even friends, maybe you should look into it.” Nelly said and all eyes turned to her in shock.
“Some matters Nelly, you have to learn that you should never put your mouth in it. Especially when it comes to Rose and Jack. They fight endlessly for control, typical Alpha and Luna, so Nelly, don’t ever repeat that mistake again.” Stefan said to her as he laid comfortably in Rose’s bed,
“I didn’t say anything wrong,”
“Nelly, apologize.” Jack said to her.
“I didn’t say anything wrong,”
“Nelly, apologize.”
“I’m sorry Rose, I never should have stepped out of line.”
“I have nothing against you Nelly. Jack is the one I have an issue with.”
“So, Rose, there’s a lot that you need to catch up on.”
“Catch up on how? Guys I’ll be late for my meeting.”
“We’ve been working on a plan for the Reeds. Are you in?”
“What’s the plan?”
“The first step was to become friends with the enemy, it seems like you’re making that easier,”
“Fake friendship with Storm? Me? You are all joking.”
“It’s not that serious Rose, we need to keep the enemy closer.”
“I cannot fake friendship with the monsters that are responsible for my bitterness”
“Rose relax. We’re not asking you to be best of friends with him. We are simply asking that you make him build trust in you. Like you said, they are divided so winning him over to our side, our side Rose! Will give us an advantage over the enemy. Once Storm is on our side, it becomes easier to tackle Dominic because Storm is the shield that this man has.”
“This is a long term plan,”
“It’s worth a shot.”
“We’re not asking you to fall in love with the enemy. He trusts us but we don’t trust him. We get the revenge we need and we dump him off. Easy-peasy.” Stefan added.
“Talking about falling in love like I’m attracted to him. I don’t know how I can have myself have a free flowing friendship with Storm, I hate the guy, every bit and inch of him.”
“Rose, the goal is the revenge. Avenging the deaths of our parents. Dominic cannot escape his brutal end. He just can’t.” Jack added.
“We’ll unfold the stages of the plan as the time goes by.”
“I just can’t imagine that I have to play the nice card to this bastard.”
“You wanted a revenge, you wanted to be supported. You needed a team and so here I am giving one to you.”
“Well, it doesn’t mean that I completely forgive you all for going behind my back and for cutting me out of the family literally. It takes more than giving me a briefing of your full proof plan against the Reeds. I need to know about dad’s companies in the underworld.”
“Rose you’re asking for too much.”
“I’m not asking for too much. I’m asking for my rights. The right to the companies.”
“The underworld plays strictly by a dirty game, a dirty game you’ve never been introduced to.”
“Then introduce me to it. Tell me then what it’s all about and how to tackle it.”
“Rose,”
“You either let me in fully, or just risk having an enemy.” Rose said as she grabbed her bag from the table and left the room.

“How dare you raise your hand to my son?!” Celina yelled at him, slapping him across the face. Storm controlled his anger, suppressing the fighting instincts inside of him.
“You’re raising rapists and molesters as sons? What kind of a mother are you?” She raised her hand again in an attempt to slap him but he caught her hand mid air throwing it away.
“Don’t you raise your hands to me if you cannot raise it to the menace of this society. Going out there tarnishing the name of this family and ruining our reputation with potential clients. I am not a nice fellow so don’t dare me Celina! Just don’t dare me.” He warned her his eyes green and yellow.
“Step away from your mother now Storm.” His father’s voice echoed as he walked towards them.
“My mother is dead.”
“You will regard Celina as your mother.”
“Not when she fails to regard me as her son! As the first son of this family! Trying to always favor her sons over me.”
“How on earth won’t she when you have failed to bring the head of the current Alpha and Luna of the Blancs?!”
“Why are you so obsessed with killing them?”
“How won’t you be obsessed with killing the people responsible for the death of your mother?!”
“Huh?” Storm asked confused. “My… what are you saying?!”
“I guess I can’t keep this secret any longer from you.”
“What secret? What are you saying?”
“Julian and I were best friends once,”
“That explains the similar bracelets you once had, where is yours?”
“I threw it away because I cannot have anything to do with the betrayer.”
“Betrayer? Father can’t you say everything that needs to be said instead of beating about the bush?”
“Julian killed your mother out of greed. He did it to spite me.”
“No!”
“That is exactly why Storm, you need to avenge the death of your mother.”
“Mother…”
“I heard that you sealed off the business deal with Dennis,”
“Yes I did.”
“And your partner is Rose Blanc,”
“How did you know?”
“It doesn’t matter. You need to take her down,”
“ What do you have in mind?”
“Become a friend to the enemy. Make her trust you, and then we will have the upper hand to strike.”
“That’s not an issue. Consider it done.” Storm said as he left them.
“Are you seriously considering what he said?” Susan asked worries as she followed him outside.
“Her father is the reason that my mother is dead!”
“And your father is the reason her parents are dead! An eye for an eye will not take any of you anywhere Storm.”
“You don’t understand anything, you’re just a little teenager.”
“I might be a teenager, but I’m not blinded by the stupid rage that clearly the root cause has not been stated but just built on lies.”
