Arthur covered his shoulders and climbed up from the ground. He looked coldly at Bernie who was covering his eyes and screaming. Blood kept flowing out from between Bernie's fingers.
"That kid actually won!" The mercenaries in the bar were all stunned and looked like they had seen a ghost.
Time seemed to stand still for a few seconds before the mercenaries reacted one after another. Two "blood-piercing" mercenaries rushed over to hug Bernie and check his injuries.
"Leave him alone, trash! He is just a trash!" Tristi screamed angrily.
Mercenaries value credibility most. No matter how angry Tristi is, the bloody mercenary cannot abandon Bernie in front of so many people. Two mercenaries had already picked up Bernie and rushed out of the bar. They sought treatment from a healing magician as soon as possible. Bernie's eyes might still be saved.
Everyone in the bar was looking at Tristi. He was humiliated and embarrassed. Under the public gaze, Tristi wanted to find a c***k in the ground and crawl into it.
"Let's go!" Tristi couldn't stay in Nightingale Bar any longer.
"Deputy Captain Tristi, maybe you forgot something?" Adeline, Tony and others stopped in front of Tristi.
"You have already won, don't go too far!" Tristi stared at Adeline with angry eyes, and the hand holding his sword trembled slightly.
"You're not going to cheat on that kid's trophy, are you?" Adeline waved the staff in her hand in front of Tristi.
Tristi turned to look at Arthur, "Are you really going to take this sword?"
Tristi's voice was cold and his eyes were sharp, full of a strong sense of threat.
Arthur's left shoulder was obviously deformed, and blood seeped out of his clothes, but he did not say a word, but forced a smile on his face, "Of course, it is a trophy I won."
"Okay, here you go!" Tristi suddenly threw the sword in his hand towards Arthur.
No one expected that Tristi would suddenly take action. The long sword was wrapped in fighting spirit and spun towards Arthur quickly. No one could stop him in time.
"You are despicable!"
Adeline raised her staff, and the magic elements gathered quickly. Tony, Angus, and the Blue Demon Queen's mercenaries drew their weapons.
No one thought that Arthur could escape Tristi's sudden attack. An ordinary bar fight would immediately turn into a fight between two mercenary groups.
But Arthur seemed to have expected Tristi's attack. He fell straight back like a dead corpse, and the sword flew past his face.
The long sword hit the wall of the bar hard, and when it bounced back, it also smashed a huge wine vat on the ground, which showed how powerful it was.
Seeing that the sneak attack failed, Tristi snorted coldly, "Adeline, the humiliation that Blue Enchantress brought me today, I, Tristi, will repay twice as much sooner or later!"
Adeline curled her lips and showed an indifferent expression. Since Arthur was fine, there was no need for her to continue fighting with Tristi, so she took back her staff and moved out of the way.
"Let's go!" Tristi wanted to take people out of here immediately.
"Wait a minute." Another voice sounded.
Tristi took back the steps he had just raised and turned around slowly.
"Deputy Captain Cuisi, maybe you have forgotten something?" Nightingale was looking at Cuisi with a smile on her shoulders.
Tristi didn't say anything, just took out a gold coin and threw it to Nightingale, turned around and left.
Nightingale did not take it, and the gold coin fell to the ground with a crisp sound.
"Not enough, ten gold coins."
Tristi, who had just turned around, staggered and almost fell down, "What? You are blackmailing! Are these tables worth ten gold coins?"
Nightingale looked at Tristi with a sneer, "The tables that Bernie broke are not worth much, but if you broke a jar of wine in my shop, doesn't it count?"
"Is a jar of wine worth ten gold coins?"
Nightingale pointed to the wine that had flowed all over the floor and said, "What you broke was the best jar of golden gin in my store. If you don't believe it, Captain Cuisi can lie down on the ground and have a taste."
Cuisi gritted his teeth. He knew that Nightingale was taking advantage of the opportunity to blackmail him, but he couldn't let go of his face lying on the ground to test the quality of the wine.
"Isn't it just ten gold coins? I, Emperor Cuisi, can afford to pay for it!"
"No, it's twelve gold coins now! The extra two gold coins just now are compensation for your insult to me. You can ask these mercenaries, when did I, Nightingale, blackmail others?"
"That's right, Sister Nightingale is the most kind!"
"Yes, Sister Nightingale has never deceived anyone!"
The mercenaries watching around were happy to watch the excitement and stood by Nightingale.
Tristi looked aggrieved, but he had to knock out his teeth and swallow it in his stomach. Even though he was the deputy leader of the "Blooded", he couldn't afford to offend this woman Nightingale.
After emptying his own and the wallets of the mercenaries who came with him to collect twelve gold coins, Tristi escaped from the Nightingale Bar in embarrassment.
Tony came to Arthur with a smile while holding Tristi's sword, "Boy, you did a great job! From today on, you will be a member of the Blue Enchantress. Brother Tony will protect you if anything happens in the future!"
Arthur just nodded slightly, his face was pale and his forehead was already covered with sweat.
"Get out of my way, didn't you see that this child is injured?" Nightingale's fat body pushed Tony aside.
Nightingale skillfully took off Arthur's shirt and squeezed Arthur's shoulders with a pair of big hands.
Following Nightingale's movements, sweat dripped down from Arthur's forehead. He closed his eyes and frowned, but did not say a word.
A scented handkerchief gently wiped away the sweat on his head and face.
Arthur opened his eyes and saw Adeline's face close at hand and her encouraging eyes.
Arthur suddenly felt a coolness on his shoulders, and the pain suddenly eased.
Nightingale was applying a black paste evenly on his left shoulder, and then wrapping his left shoulder with layers of white gauze.
"The bones inside have been cracked. Don't move around these days. If you find a healing magician, the recovery will be faster." Nightingale turned to Adeline and said.
"Thank you, Sister Nightingale."
"Keynes has found a treasure this time. This guy is a born mercenary." Nightingale said and patted Arthur's face again.
Arthur lowered his head in embarrassment, with a shy smile on his face.
"Boy, it's yours now." Tony handed the sword over again, "You know, this rare enchanted long sword is worth at least 300 gold coins. Tristi saved up a full year for it. Reward." Tony's tone was filled with envy and even jealousy.
Arthur took it with one hand and gave it to Adeline without looking at it. "Teacher, can I give this sword to you?"
Adeline looked stunned, "Why?"
"It's too precious. I'm not qualified to own it or protect it."
The surrounding mercenaries were in an uproar. Does such a young child understand the principle of "a gentleman is not guilty, but he who possesses a jade is guilty"?
"No, let me ask you why you called me teacher just now?"
"Didn't Aunt Yanying just say that I am your magic apprentice?" A sly smile appeared on Arthur's face.
