I’m so shocked by the sight that I don’t even know how to react. I just stand there staring at him as if he’s a vision from my imagination.
It can’t really be him standing there, his iridescent skin glimmering in the afternoon sunlight, his green eyes dancing with adrenaline. For a second our gazes lock. I see a softness in his eyes that hasn’t existed in a very long time, and as he scans my body in my enchanted wedding gown his breathing becomes even more ragged and uneven.
This is impossible. He can’t be here. He hates me. It has to be my imagination.
Then, with no warning Eric shifts into his wolf form and lets out a bone-chilling howl. Like a wild animal he charges toward Robin with the fury of a thousand suns. I hear their bodies collide, growls and screams ringing through
