I watch the golden sunlight begin to peek over the horizon casting a warm glow on everything it touches, including Sylvia’s sleeping face as it rests on my shoulder.  I don’t remember the last time I felt this peaceful, this whole. The strangest part is that it has nothing to do with the fact that I’m getting married today. It’s because I’ve finally found a friend who can really relate to everything I’m going through.
