Part 2, Chapter 1
It’s been a few months since my parents got married, and a few months since Robin… forgot me. Every day that goes by, the pain fades away a little more. And every day my powers fade away a little more too, though I feel fine as long as I don’t try to use them.
When the morning sun comes shining in through my window, I open my eyes and sit up. I take a long, indulgent stretch and look over at the alarm clock beside my bed. 8:17am. I still have a half hour or so before I need to leave for Sociology class, so I have just enough time to throw on my favorite sweatpants and grab some breakfast.
