Blindfolded

Leigh's P.O.V. First, I don't know what the f**k I'm doing. Second, I'm definitely not sure what's happening. And, third, I think I wanna fall in love with him. Whoa! Inhale. Exhale. He's now turning left when I finally managed to speak; "where exactly are we going?" He chuckled. Without taking his eyes off the road, he answered; "that. I can't tell you. So, can you take the bag at the back? There's a blindfold there --" I was reaching for his bag when he said the word blindfold that made me stop and looked back at him. "-- wear it." "What?" I raised my eyebrow. "You have to trust me on this," he smiled, as his hand reaches for mine. "It'll be worthy." The whole ride remained in total silence with his hand twined to mine, as I wore the blindfold. His touch made me unease - in a good and crazy way. And I don't want it to end. Never. After almost half an hour, I felt the car stopped and the engine died. He held my hand, as I felt his lips brushed unto my knuckles. "No peeking, okay?" I nodded before he finally let go of my hand. I can hear him moving beside me, then the car door slammed shut. Soon, I found myself walking blindfolded with Calum as my guide. Now, things are getting way exciting! I thought. We finally stopped, feeling his warm touch as he clasp his hands on my shoulder. He was standing behind me; "promise me you won't laugh." "I'm pretty much nervous and excited," I chuckled. I felt his hands moved and untied the blindfold. I blinked my eyes twice before the vision became clear. A blanket was perfectly placed on the middle of the groove, where a basket sat. The place was lit by hundreds of candles. Overwhelmed, I turned around and looked at him, smiling widely. He was looking at me nervously with a bouquet of roses in his hands. I jumped and hugged him. No one has ever done this to me. And for someone who's hopelessly romantic, this is absolutely a win. He hugged me back. "This is huge!" I pulled away and beamed at him. I can see that he's pretty satisfied with my reaction. "Its nothing." "Oh please," I giggled, as I led the way. We sat as the night sky surrounds us. The stars were scattered - twinkling brightly, as if they were smiling down at us. I can feel him watching me closely as minutes passed.
