Chapter 14 Jacksonville, FL LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON, I was summoned to Chief Bridges’ office, where I found the chief and the sheriff waiting, along with a man and a woman whom I didn’t recognize. “Captain Martin,” the sheriff said, “allow me to introduce you to Crystal Young and Lamar Bishop.” I shook hands with both of them. Crystal was, at a guess, in her thirties, dark-haired, quite fit, and rather attractive.
