Chapter Six

"Do u you really think they had planned it?"Taft asked,"I mean it doesn't make sense."

Adeola sipped the orange juice and painstakingly dropped the glass cup on the table. He licked his lips graspingly and said,"Bob and Rob are definitely not the type that betrays. That i know for sure."

Rocsyd dropped some documents on the tables and sat down wearily"But they were caught shadowing X-rod."He brought a picture and placed it on the middle of the table"You see that,that is proof."The picture was of X-rod, Spark and Dark Knight in the smoke.

Adeola took a long look at the photo for sometime then said,"Bob,I mean he wouldn't want to leave his team I don't agree with Paul,Bob is our guy,come on."

Techno grinned"Do you realise that you've never said Bobby's full name?"

Adeola elevated his eyebrows, pouted his lips and shrugged"I don't know,whatever."

The secret door unclosed and Jack stepped in,he walked majestically with some documents and files in his hands"My research indicates that X-rod had been stealing the hearts of stone for a very long time."He said and sat on a chair besides Taft.

No one was willing to talk so he went on,"X-rod is certainly the wisest of all villain because he was the first who found out the secrets of the hearts of stone,a villain like this should be dealt with,with wisdom. In our last mission,we found out that the hearts of the dead were already taken yet we couldn't see X-rod."

Paul blinked"X-rod is certainly a mega villian,I mean when the lethal bomb was released it didn't have an effect on him."

"Now he has taken Bob and Robert with him."Adeola said

"Fortunately I know where they are but it still isn't a piece of cake."He said.

Taft sipped his orange flavoured drink and licked his lips.He coughed blatantly until tears toppled down from his green eyes,Taft drew out a handkerchief from his back pocket and clean his tears"What do you mean?"

"The stuff is that I know where they are but- the word 'but' was audible"They're still under the roof of X-rod."

"But that shouldn't halt us from going for them."

"X-rod is a mega villian,he can't be defeated easily but- again,the word 'but' was audible."That won't change anything because we're moving back on track."

Adeola said,"When are we heading out?"

Jack wheeled his face to meet him and gave him his attention"Today is Thursday, right?"Adeola nodded."Then we go on Tuesday."

Jack stood up to go and Paul said quickly,"one quick question. You said they're bewitched."He hesitated"How could we break the spell?"

"I don't know for sure but from my research it signifies that the spell could only be broken in a way that the victim must be told something he has never been told before."He informed retracing his steps.

That's hard, Adeola thought inwardly,and strange.
