I have been on the run, distancing myself from the pack and my life for several days. Although I didn't want to leave, I knew I had to depart before Alpha Victor returned from his honeymoon, because her wolf of a Luna had managed to manipulate Alpha Victor into turning against me and eroding my feelings for him.
Before she was in the picture, before Alpha Victor introduced her to the pack, Alpha Victor never had an issue with talking with me now and then. She did something to Alpha Victor; that's why he rejected my feelings.
If I had stayed at the pack, waiting for Alpha Victor to turn from his honeymoon, I would have been killed. As part of pack law, any harm done to the Alpha or Luna is punishable by death. At least I would be able to watch from afar.
