I was definitely upset that Michelle and I had to cut our honeymoon short because the police apprehended Mr. Preston. I didn't anticipate facing additional challenges when Michelle and I returned to the pack.
We discovered that Serena had managed to escape from the dungeon. At that moment, I wasn't mentally prepared to handle the situation of finding her. My mind was clouded with anger toward Lucas for not informing me about this development before Michelle and I returned home. Additionally, I was furious with the guards for allowing her to escape without proper oversight.
I didn't have the patience or time to deal with the situation at the pack. I simply instructed Lucas to handle it until Michelle and I returned from the police station after speaking with the detective.
