I am still in shock over Victor's behavior during the meeting. He aggressively confronted Mr. Preston, openly criticizing him in front of all attendees, and then proceeded to terminate his employment right there. Such actions could easily open Victor up to a lawsuit from Mr. Preston. After witnessing this, I followed Victor into his office and confronted him about his conduct.
I was relieved that the office was soundproof, which gave me the freedom to vent my frustrations fully. I let Victor have it without holding back. As he approached me slowly, I noticed his eyes darkening, a strange intensity in his gaze. Is he seriously trying to kiss me right now? I couldn't believe what I was seeing. What does he think he's doing? This unexpected move caught me completely off guard.
