Chapter 7 | Meet Cassie!

722 Words
Alex POV Cassie Addams, only one word to describe her. ANGEL. She looks like one, smells like one, speaks like one so she must be one. I met her twice in one lifetime. The first time was in kindergarten thirteen years ago and secondly, last night as my mate. In the twelve hours we spent together I learned that her favorite color is green because she likes nature. She smells like pineapples,he skin is like the finest silk. Her blue eyes are so enchanting, her smile just makes me melt. I have never seen someone more perfect. I met her just before the party started and she was all I could see all night. My mate, so beautiful. Now I just couldn't wait to introduce her to my family. I got out of bed to go shower. I finished and went to wake Cassie up so she could get ready for breakfast. I went and sneaked into Jessie's room to borrow some her clothes for Cassie to wear. I carefully picked out some clothes, careful not to make a since she would go crazy if anything was out of place. Another habit of a perfectionist. I laid out the clothes on the bed and waited for her to get out of the bathroom. She got dressed and we went downstairs. I got to the dining table and found my parents having breakfast, Jessie shows up a little late. Nothing out of the ordinary. My mom lit up when she saw me with Cassie. "Oh my! Is this who I think it is?" she gushed. "Mom and dad, this is Cassie Addams, my mate. Cassie, these are my parents, Grace and Bill Roberts." "Oh my God, you're so beautiful." my mom said. "Nice to meet you Cassie. I have to say you look to pretty to be with this one over here, we're giving you a free pass to run out of here screaming. Now or never." my dad joked. Cassie chuckled. "Oh Bill stop being silly, mom playfully slapped him on the chest. There's nothing wrong with Alex, nothing I've heard of anyway. Is there?" mom asked with raised eyebrows. I just stood there dumbfounded. This is so embarrassing. "You guys, stop that. This is so embarrassing." I said. Cassie just chuckled and said. "No there's nothing wrong, your son is wonderful actually." Ahh, sweet as an angel. "Thank you babe. Now let's eat." I said. "Cassie, come sit next to me. I want to know everything about you." my mom said. The started to go on about women stuff. And just like that Cassie was part of the family. She just needed to meet Jess. I hope she was on her best behavior. Jess walked in the dining room and greeted everyone. " Hey fam, hey Cassie. What are you doing here?" she asked confused. "Uhm, as of yesterday, I found out that Cassie is my mate." "What!? Whoa, that is so cool. So I have a sister! Yay!!!" she yelled. "You know what, after breakfast we need to hang out." "But I was planning on spending the day with her." "Aww come on, you get to see her for the rest of your life. I'm asking for a couple of hours. You do that, I forget you went into my room and stole my clothes without permission this morning." "I borrowed them but okay." she had finally broken into the family. After breakfast Jessie hooked her arm to Cassie and off the went. They knew each other but now that she was my mate, Jess liked her even more. And just like that, my sister had stolen my mate. Jessie POV " Soo? Tell me everything. " I said. "Well last night-" "Don't finish that thought. Cassie, sweetie, I love you but if you ever tell me about what you and my brother do behind closed doors I'll never forgive you. That's so gross." "Okay, I'll tell you about our conversations then." "Sounds wonderful." For hours we talked about her and my brother, how it felt to have a mate and anything that came to mind. I was so happy that my brother found his mate, I was even more happy that it was Cassie. She is just a wonderful person and I know she'll make a great mate for my brother.
