KAIUS POV

I looked down at the girl that was once again lying on my chest just like she had also done earlier,she was staring at me with those jade eyes of hers and just like earlier I couldn't look away, her Jade eyes were intense and magnetic and it felt like she was pulling me in, maybe it's because her eyes reminded me of someone probably the same reason I went back to save her.

I looked away and pushed her away from me causing her to groan as she collided with the car door

Couldn't you be a little more gentle She asked with a frown but I just ignored her

Why did you even send your man to save me,I thought you said you didn't want anything to do with whatever my problem was She asked

Why did you ask them to bring me to you She asked again

Do you want a thank you,but I don't think a man like you will be so petty just to bring me here to hear me say thank you She said

Are you trying to demand something from me---

Wait,if that's the case I have nothing to give you She said and I tilted my head to look at her.I scanned her face and then my eyes shifted to her body that was cladded in baggy clothes.

Don't tell me you think want me to thank you with my body,there is no way am doing that--

Hold you horses lady you are not even my type I replied since her assumptions were getting pretty ridiculous and I heard scoff

Your problem surely has nothing to do with me but I saved you for a reason I said

What reason is that she asked looking at me with a suspicious gaze

I want something from you,since I saved you I expect you to be able to pay back the favor I said

I have nothing bro,you should just let me go,take it as another one of the days where you render your help to people am sure a man like you does that quite often She said and I let out a dry laugh

That's not quite true I said

I only help people who have something to offer me and people who I want something from I said

I already told you I have nothing to offer you,what can you possibly want from someone like me I said

That's left for me to decide I said and she huffed,she turned and tried to open the door but it was locked.she turned back at me with a glare

Where are you even taking me to She asked

You can just tell me now what you want from me

Why do you have such cold aura around you

Are you always like this

Are you always so annoying I asked starting to feel angry,I have always enjoyed my peace and quietness and hated to have people around me talking unless they are required to

Am not annoying and you can just answer my question no need to be so rude She said

You don't have the right to ask me questions I said and she scoffed

Who do you think you are--wait if I annoy you more will you get angry and push me out of your car She asked and I scoffed

Am not going to push you out alive I said and a dramatic gasp escaped her lips

Or I can just render you unconscious till we get to our destination I said and leaned in closer to her which caused her to immediately lean back until her head collided with the car door

Just remember this,I saved you for a reason and if you are unable to meet my demands you sure aren't going to stay alive much longer,you should know the ball is in my court not yours I said and scanned her face,she had a fearful expression on her face but her eyes showed nothing and the expression didn't look real.I pulled away and sat down back on my seat.Those words seemed to have worked because she kept quiet after that and soon after soft snores filled the car and I groaned

Does everything about her has to be so annoying

We soon arrived at my house and I shoved her shoulder twice before she woke up

What is wrong with you,do you have to be so rough She asked with a frown as she wiped her face with her hand.I stared at her and the went out,many new things had happened to me after I met her and one of them were the fact that she is not scared of me.She talks to me in ways that no one has ever dared to do except my only relative

I soon heard her footsteps behind me and we both entered the house.My men had arrived a long time ago since they rode on a different car and they also live on the other side of the house while Iive alone in my mansion

You house is so huge and beautiful She stated after a while we entered.Both the interiors and exterior were picked by me with a huge silver fountain in the middle of the house.The painting was white and black and there were golden chandeliers hanging around.The house contained 14 rooms and I hardly ever live here though since I am more permanently based in California,I came back to pay a visit to my grandma

Do you live alone

Then you must always feel lonely,I can't imagine my life without people She said

I live alone and I don't feel lonely I said

I sat down on one of the couches and she immediately plowed down on one of the larger ones

This feels so comfortable She groaned in relief as she traced the leather sofa with her hands

Won't you offer me anything She asked after a while

I don't have the time for that I said and she rolled her eyes

So what do you want from me She asked and I stalled for some seconds

Marry me I stated and she stared at me with a bewildered look before bursting into laughter.

That's so funny bro She said in between laughter but she stopped midway when she saw how serious my face was

You must be joking right,you didn't mean that She said

Do I look like am joking I asked and the amused look on her face dropped and she stood up

Look Mister,I appreciate the fact that you sent your men to save me,I really do but I think you must be crazy I mean how can you ask a complete stranger to marry you.I still think this is some kind of joke though She said

I am not asking you to marry me,I am telling you to marry me and you don't have a choice I said and she stared at my face

Who the f**k do you think you are,just because you sent a few men to rescue me you think you have the right to force me into marriage

I didn't need your help because when I truly needed it you were the one to push me away so I don't owe you anything She concluded and headed towards the door

Like I have told you,you owe me your life and if you don't comply to my request you won't get to live much longer.I won't be the one to kill you,your father will do the job for me, Indie Marcella Alviso I said and she halted in her steps
