There wasn’t time to analyze the situation in depth. Noah held an unusual weapon, a chain with small blades running along its length and a longer, wider blade at the end. I wondered where he had gotten it, but there was no time to ask. A single moment of distraction could mean my end in that kind of situation.   The black wolf was magnificent, powerful, and deadly.
