That fucker was cold.” “Yeah,” Skinny Thug said, “but it’s time to get your ass out of bed. The guy at the garage said he’ll have the part he needs as soon as the parts house opened.” “What’s the hurry? It’s still gonna take him a while to get that old heap running. Good thing we decided to check into this motel yesterday afternoon and get cleaned up—if the car had died up in the hills, we’d have been s**t out of luck.”
