Chapter 5Dusty pulled the car into a parking lot outside of a rundown liquor store that advertised just a three-dollar fee for a space. When he found an open spot, he pumped the gas and then slammed on the brakes about a foot short of its concrete slab. “Jesus!” Lumbergh shouted. “Dan Tanna!” Dusty yelled as he raised his arms, evoking the lead character’s name from the show, Vegas. “Jesus, you watch that show too?” Sean asked, surprised Dusty had even heard of it. “Oh, you bet!” said Dusty. “You guys are like twins,” joked Lumbergh. “Only if he’s Danny DeVito,” said Sean. “Vegas was a great show!” continued Dusty. “I like how they use a dollar sign for the S’s in Vegas.
