Love Discovered

Good morning mom,Ayana greeted her mother with glee it was just 6 am on a Monday morning. Mondays are known for being the most difficult days to navigate but this was different it was going to be an exciting one if all went according to plan. being her 19th birthday Ayana was particularly excited she could not wait to go out into the world and experience life which seemed to be so glamorous. Ayana had been brought up in a loving home sheltered and protected from all the challenges that might have arisen but now she was going to college and her independent life was just beginning. In a different city and far away from her parents watch Ayana intended to explore all life had to offer she wanted to fall in love, attend parties ,make mistakes and above all have all the experiences she heard her friends speak of. like any other day Ayana was greeted with a cake and a breakfast buffet of all her favourites as it was always done but this time it was different there was one more suprise from her all dotting parents, a red Porsche awaited her in the driveway with a huge red bow on it, in the recent years Ayana had taken a liking to the colour red and it was no surprise that everything she owned was almost all red. as Ayana jumped up and down from excitement and couldn't wait to go show off to her friends Brittany,Lola and chesca this was going to be an amazing birthday nothing could ruin it for her and she would for sure not allow it. Ayana got into her new car and drove off into the horizon feeling like an adult already in no time she was at the coffee shop sharing the excitement with her friends,this was their religious birthday breakfast which was held for each and everyone of them and this one was particularly special for in two weeks time they would all be going to college in the city of pracanville ,by the looks of it they were planning on painting the town red . The day was coming to an end and it was time to pull out the party hats and go to Ayana's party it was always known as the party of the year as Ayana's parents went all out for their only daughter's birthday and this year would be no exception. The party guests were welcomed by a mime and wall of champagne it was only the best for the Lambert family daughter Ayana and as the celebration went on the three girls were busy planning out their departure and making a list of all the things they would do they simply could not wait to leave. The day was finally here the girls driving off into the sunset to begin their new life a world of wonder awaited them and like fate would have it they were all in for some life changing experiences. First day of college came and went and it was no denying that Ayana had captured alot of people's interest with her child like behaviour one person being her lecturer who had openly commented on her innocence and offered to give her tutor lessons should she ever need them or any other help that she might require. she was so stricken by his blue eyes and black locks of hair on his head that it was all she could think of and very soon she was having lunch and dining out with her handsome lecturer. This innocently went on for a while and feelings grew on both parties in a span of 6 months Mr Carlton proposed to Ayana. with glee and excitement a wedding was planned with her friends as bridesmaids she was soon Mrs Carlton and life was seemingly wonderful and envy to many,but was it all as it seemed she had not had a chance to meet Carlton's parents and that was always a concern for her but the more she asked the more it angered Carlton do she simply chose to not talk about and chose to trust her husband whom she loved so much. Time flew by fast and she was soon expecting their first child she chose to take a break from school and enjoy being pregnant Carlton was very supportive of her decisions and even though he barely could give her the life she was used to her parents always chipped in when needed and this time as they were overwhelmed with joy they took responsibility for whatever expense that would be incurred by their grandchild. However Carlton began to change he would stay out late or even not come home for days he would get violent when Ayana questioned his behaviour and this was worrying Ayana's friends who did not seem to trust Carlton blinded by love or what she thought was love Ayana cut off everyone who had something to say about her husband or even questioned him she was all alone with her thoughts and soon to be child. she put to bed and that was when everything fell apart Carlton did not provide enough to sustain her and the baby and she soon had to look for a job as a waitress at a fast food joint in order to support her and her child ,Chesca found out about Ayana's struggles and decided to visit she could not bare to see her friend living in such conditions she took her to her home and nursed her back to health . The three girls decided to make it their mission to unmask Carlton and also make him pay for what he had put Ayana through as the investigation ensued they could not believe what they found Carlton was already married with two children and the family was living in Western ville just afew kilometers outside of Pracanville , knowing how weak Ayana was they did not know how to break the news to her but it had to be done and action had to be taken this man could not yet let go scot free. They contacted Mr Lambert who was nothing but disgusted by the events happening in his daughter's life he was out for blood to make Carlton pay He traveled to Pracanville and was reunited with Ayana who collapsed in her father's embrace tears cascading down her rosy cheeks it was truly a heart breaking site to see. Ayana vehemently apologised for all that had transpired and she decided to get a divorce and go back home with her beautiful daughter. complaints were filed at the college and this led to a can of worms being opened it turns out that Ayana was not the first student to fall for the charms of Mr Carlton whose name was later discovered to be Charlton he had several victims in the past more than 100 complaints had been filed but due to lack of sufficient evidence no action was ever taken against him. this time however it would be different,the evidence against him was irrefutable and his wife was willing to talk she had finally said Enough is Enough. Charlton went ahead to be placed under scrutiny and his whole life dissected turns out he was never even qualified to be a lecturer nor was he from Pracanville he was an illegal immigrant all along he was relieved of his job immediately and handed over to the immigration police as he awaited trials for the rest of his crimes which included fraud,r**e and many more. He pleaded with his wife and Ayana to withdraw the charges but non of them was willing to listen they had had enough and it was time for Charlton to pay he was out to trial and sentenced to 30 years behind bars.
