Chapter 3: The Quest Begins
Aurora's instincts screamed at her to deny the stranger's question, but her curiosity got the better of her. "What makes you think this map exists?" she asked, trying to sound nonchalant.
The stranger's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "Let's just say I have reason to believe it's here. And I'm willing to pay a handsome sum for its safe return."
Aurora hesitated, unsure if she should trust this enigmatic figure. But something about his words resonated deep within her. She made a split-second decision. "Follow me," she said, leading him to the back room where the ancient map lay hidden.As they stood before the map, the stranger's eyes widened with an unnerving intensity. "This is it," he whispered, his voice trembling. "The lost path to Eldarath. "Aurora felt a shiver run down her spine. "What's Eldarath?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. The stranger's gaze snapped to hers, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Ah, my dear, you're about to find out. Will you join me on this quest?"
Aurora hesitated, unsure if she was ready for what lay ahead But something about the stranger's words, the map, and the thrill of the unknown beckoned her forward.
"Yes," she said, her voice firm. "I'm in."And with that, the quest begin.
