Lura pov
I knew Karen was back, I wasn't shocked at all. Sometimes, when packs banish someone, sometimes they bring them back. But i didn't know what happened to her until Ace called me in his office and told me what had happened, John and i was off a few nights, and i was happy about because we got to spend time together in our home instead of at work, its hard to do what when you are guarding your pack from rogues. we walked over to James and Karens house, Ace wanted me to go with him so she wouldn't be scared, but when i walked in the door and saww her my heart dropped for her, i didn't know how bad she would look until i saw her,,

I tried not to look at her for to long, but what i saw was a little to much i ran over to her and hugged her gently, she had bruises all over her face, her eyes were black, she had a black and blue bruise on the right side of her face, she had a huge bandage on the left side of her face, Ace told me they cut her up really good, when i hugged her, i felt a larg bandage on her back. so i tried not to hurt her, I also saw on the back of her head, they had to cut some of her hair to stitch the back of her head up, her arms were bruises, though she tried to cover her arms with the hoddie she was wearing, I wanted to hug her to tell her that i was here for her, but i don't want her to think i felt pity for her, i didn't feel pity. i felt anger and anger that they did this to her, I wish i was with them that night. I could have helped them. i could have saved them. Once Ace questioned her, she pleaded for him to find Amber, that she tried to save her, but she couldn't. I wanted to stay and sooth her, and talk to her, maybe even try to fix her hair so she could feel beautiful. But Ace wanted me to go with him, I hugged her again and told her I would be back later to check up on her, We left to head right to the pack house to the room that it all happened, Ace had all the members that was staying on this floor to move to the second floor, it was only to keep them safe, Walking into the room i went right to the bathroom to take a look around, i didn't see anything that wasn't suppose to be there, But I jumped when Ace yelled for us to go to him in the cloest, what the hell did he find?
John pov
I didn't want to think about what happened to Karen, i kept thinking to myself, if i didn't reject her, she would had been safe and home with me, but then if i didn't i would had never met lura, and She would had never met James, When Lura came home i hurried over to her and held her in my arms and didn't let her go for awhile, she kept asking me what was wrong, i told her that Ace needed to speak with her, i didn't want her to walk alone, i was nervous, those rogues could still be out there, i walked her to the pack house, The guards were on high alert now, and we where all wearign body suits so if anyone had guns, the only way to get to us if they shot us right between the eyes, and that was still hard because we had a bullet proof vest on, trust me, i made sure everyone had them when they went on their shift, i was going to work tonight but Ace told me that he needed me with him tonight, so i said okay, I looked around and i saw the warriors training, they wanted to be ready for anything, we made it to Ace office, we walked right into the room, Thats when Ace told her everything,
“John, i need you to stay at my office, Lura and i are going to their house, so I can question Karen,’ he saw the look on my face, he knew i was worried, he nodded than said,
“I promise, i won't let anything happen to Lura, i will protect her with my life, man she's my cousin, she's like sister to me,i won't let anything happen to her,”
‘Thank you Alpha Ace, they left then came back an hour later, he told me to follow them up to the room something was weird, so Bolt, I and Lura and Alpha Ace walked up to the room, i could smell the blood, that was on the carpet, I smelled the faint scent of Karen, Amber and the rogues, how the h3ll did they get in this house,
