Lura pov

I knew Ace wanted to find Amber so badly. He was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. when he saw us just standing there, he yelled at us. i knew he meant well, but yelling and getting angry is not going to help find her any faster. We had searched everywhere in that house, but we couldn't smell her anywhere. We went to the run-down houses. The first two looked like people had lived there, but they left in a hurry. There weren't that many houses that were here, I even cut on the water thinking they had running water, but there wasn’t any coming out of the faucet. so this must had been the cause of them leaving, we were about to leave when something caught my eye, a chain underneath a chair that looked like it could be thrown away, lifting the chair up, i saw that the chain was hooked to a wall, looking at Ace, he tossed the chair to the side, we were thinking that the chain could lead to a underground hidden room, pulling on the chain, i could smell something on it,

‘ACE DROP IT, IT'S COVERED IN WOLFBANE!!” He hurried to drop it. Thankfully, he only held onto it for a couple of seconds, turning to Bolt, i asked him,

“Can you smell Amber anywhere in this room at all? Was she in this house?” He was sniffing the air, Ace had told me that Bolt could smell any scent even if they try to cover it up, he could still scent it out, watching as he walked toward the wall he tossed the broken down couch to the side, there was a trap door he pulled it open,

Im going down there. Ace, i think you should go with me as well, John and Laura, i think you should stay up here just in case this is a trap you can get out of here, okay?” That meant he could smell her down there, i am hoping that she was there, and we could bring her back home and get her to the doctor to make sure she is okay, i wanted to go, i was worried for the both of them, i didn't care about myself right now, that was my cousin going down there, he was like a brother to me, i didn’t want anything to happen to him or to Bolt, f**k this,

‘Im sorry but i'm going down there with you, if this is a trap than we are all going down together, John agreed with me Ace and Bolt knew not to aruge with me, so they both sighed than said, fine, but if it gets bad, you run, and i don't want to hear another word from you,” s**t, when he put it that way, i knew not to say a another word, or he would chew me out, Bolt, Ace, and John jumped down first, and than i did. I could smell death down here, like someone was just killed not so long along, We opened a door that lead down some steps so we walked down and ended up in a larger cellar with lots of cages in there, useally when you walk into a cellar, you will fine wine but there was no wine down here at all, we walked around careful not to get ambushed by anyone, at the far end of the cellar i saw a figure laying on the ground, goddess please don't let it be her, please don't let it be her. i ran forward. The guys were right behind me. I stopped when i got to the body. Kneeling down, i slowly turned the body around,

John pov

I didn’t want Lura down here. I could sense danger down here, I could smell rogues and lots of them. its like they are running from us, but i don't know how the f**k they are getting out of here, I feel this is a trap, and all i could do is watch everything that i come across. When Lura started running, i didn't know what she was running from or running to, Than i quickly found out, when she kneeled down, she carefully turned a womans body around, she barely breathing, her top was off of her and her legs and arms were full of cuts and bruises, what the f**k did they do to her, she opened her eyes, and said,

“Kill me, please just finish me off. i can't bear the pain.” i didn't know what to do, Ace kneeled down beside her and asked her,

‘Did they have my mate here? her name was Amber.” she coughed up a little blood than said,

“Yes, that girl is a fighter, she killed three of their strongest rogues, we where trying to escape but they caught us, they took her and left me here,” she pointed at a exit that i didn’'t see before, i felt so bad for this woman, i didn't want to finish her off, we needed to get her out of here, she just could not die down here, not in this mess.

“Lets get her out of here. She can't die down here.” We all agreed, Bolt gently picked her up, she screamed in pain but all he could do was try and comfort her, we went out to the exit that she pointed at, we where back in the woods, what the f**k is all of this, they were one step ahead of us,Botl laid the woman down on the forest ground, than he asked her,

‘Did they do anything to you or Amber besides this?” Shaking her head, she then said,

“No, but they have with me before, im unable to have babies, ive tried to tell them, but that didn't stop them from trying, but when they took her, they shot her up with wolfbane than left, they left me down there by myself, they did have other women with them” she ended up screaming again as blood poured out of one of the wounds, i could smell wolfsbane on her,

Please, i don’t want to be left here. Please just finish me off. I can live like this, please.” Lura looked at Ace, and he nodded. She looked down at the woman kneeling beside her,

“If you really want it to end, I'll do it for you. This will be quick okay,” The woman nodded as tears came down her face. She said her last words,

“Thank you. i can finally go up to the moon goddess with my family,” Lura claws came out, and with one s***h, she ripped through her chest to her heart ripping it out of her, she gasped her last breath and then she was gone, we set up a fire pit than set her on fire, her ashes went up the the moon goddess Slenea,

“Ace, at least we know she is still a live, try and mind link her, any more wolfbane in her, it will stop bothering her after the six or seventh dose,

‘Do not ever tell me that s**t again, that can also f*****g kill her, who knows how powerful that wolfbane is John, that is my mate your talking about,
