A little before midday on the day of the wedding I was presented with the perfect opportunity to sneak past Luke and Hayden to the back paddock. Noah had instructed them to stop me from peeking past the back yard fence to where the marquee and dance floor had been set up. The tantalising sound of Dallmin and Beth running their soundcheck was making it hard to behave, so when the rest of Bane’s crew arrived and greeted the two soldiers, I very nearly made a dash for the back gate.
