You’re the first hired help that’s actually stuck around.” “They just didn’t know how to tolerate you.” He grinned. “And I suppose you do?” “I ignore you snide comments if any, but lately you haven’t been dishing them half as much.’ “Maybe it’s cause I want you to help me, and I want to learn for the first time in my life.” She nodded in appreciation. “Right class lets settle down and begin.” The bell rang for the end of the lesson the tutor let them out roe by row which pissed Stenton right off being as Autumn’s row was the first which meant he had to catch up to her before she got to far in front of him to do so. “Hey Red!” He shouted. He reckons she has a high tolerance level.” “She has something to put up with you for a few hours. Do you actually listen?” “Always. Red has helped me a lot actually, and I think I’m finally understanding what I’m actually doing.’” “So you won’t be needing her anymore?” “She has told you she’s helping me till after Christmas right?” He grunted, how could he forget that? “Totally slipped my mind. Let’s just hope you can keep your hands to yourself with the next helper cause you won’t be getting Autumn back.” “Con!” “Is that a threat?” “It’s a f*****g promise, behave and do what you’ve got to do cause she won’t be tutoring you after Christmas.” “Con!” “I think that’s up to her not you.” “Come in Con let’s just get to lesson.” “Well, it was nice chatting with you Stenton.” “Whatever Con.” She looked at Stenton mouthing “I’m sorry.” He nodded as he walked away. “What the f**k Con? that was damn right rude. He knows he’s got a new f*****g tutor after Christmas. There was no need to f*****g rub it in! You’re f*****g unbelievable.” “I’m sorry.” “Tell that to Stenton not me. He’s doing really well right now, and I can’t need him falling back cause of this.” He grunted. “Come on we’ll be late for lesson.” She huffed and followed him into their next lesson. They walked to the smoking area for break the tension between them wanted their friends to run and hide. “Okay spit what are you two on edge.” “Ask him.” “Ask her.” “Oh boy.” The bell rang and they went to thier classes. They all had a cigarette the tension between Connor and Autumn still in the air. “Okay you two need to talk, what the f**k is going on?” Ash asked. “Stenton.” They chimed. “Oh boy, not this again.” “What had he done now?” “Nothing.” “Okay. Confusing.” “Con had to throw it in his face that I wouldn’t be tutoring him after Christmas.” “It’s the truth geez.” “It’s the way you said it Con, like you were taking a dig at him.” “Maybe I was. I’m sick of him taking all of your time up.” “He doesn’t.” “Doesn’t he? He seems to be more important to you than me!” “What the f**k? He’s my friend, like you are. And I agreed to help him get his grades up. I also agreed to help him with his homework cause he needed to catch up, seen as were in the same f*****g classes.” “I said I was sorry.” “And I said you needed to tell Stenton that not me.’” The bell rang and she stored off, Connor huffed and walked with Daniel to registration.
