14th December
Autumn sat by the lake smoking. Connor walked over to her. “Your mom said you were out here.”
She looked up at him. “I needed time out.”
“Sure.”
“So are we ready to go the guys will be waiting and we don’t want to be late.”
“Sure.”
He took her hand pulling her up ans they walked away from the lake hand in hand.
They met their friends at the bowl-Plex.
“About time we’re booked in in two minutes.”
“Sorry we missed the f*****g bus and had to walk.”
“Well you’re here now.”
“We are.”
“Let’s go in.”
They all went in paying and exchanging their shoes for bowling shoes,
They went to their lanes and took their bowling ball.
“Here let me show you.”
“I’ve been bowling before, Con.”
He gave her that look to say just run with it. She sighed and let him take over he was that close to her his breath was giving her goosebumps.
They played a few games and he had to admit she was good but nit as good as him. They all sat down to eat their burgers and fries with a shake before they all parted company.
Connor and Autumn sat by the lake he dropped his arm around her pulling her close. “I hope we will always be like this babe, you mean a lot to me.”
“You mean a lot to me to Con.”
He smiled kissing her forehead as they watched the moon shimmering over the lake.
15th December
Stenton met Autumn at the lake. “So are we ready to go its really,cold today and we have hot chocolate or whatever takes your fancy.”
‘Sure let’s go I’m freezing.’
He smiled raping his arm around her bringing her closer to him to warm her up. They walked away heading for his house.
He opened the door and she followed him in. ’Hot chocolate?”
“Latte.”
He nodded and. she followed him into the large kitchen with a bar. He done them both a drink a hot chocolate for him and a latte for her. “Follow me.”
She nodded following him. “So is your dad in?”
“Yeah he’ll be in his study.”
“Oh.”
He chuckled
“We’re going into the library.”
“Okay.”
She followed him through the house to the library. “Take a seat Red.”
She nodded. Sitting down placing her things in the table he sat opposite her. “So shall we get started? its going to be along ass day.”
“Yeah.”
He smiled.
They began their essay his dad peered in.
“Argh, busy at it I see.”
“Dad.”
“Son.” He looked at Autumn and smield. “How are you Autumn?”
“I’m good Mr. Stenton, How is your work going?”
“Quiet well thank you. I hope Jonah is behaving himself?”
“Dad.”
“He is sir.”
He nodded. “I see he offered you a drink this time no refreshments?”
“I’m not hungry. But, Thanks anyway.”
He nodded.
“Well I’ll let you two get back to it. It was nice seeing you again Autumn.”
“You too.”
“Keep up the good work, Jonah.”
“I will Dad.”
He nodded walking out of the room.
“So what time that’s your got to meet Con?”
“When we’re done.”
“Well we better get done hadn’t we?!” He said sarcastically, smirking.
“Yeah we should.”
They continued with either essay and she text Connor to meet her by the lake.
“So shall I walk you back?”
“Yeah.”
They continued to do their essay and she text Connor when they were almost done.
“To the lake?”
“Yeah.”
He smiled and they packed everything away. “Let’s go Red.”
She nodded.
They walked out of the library. “Going already?”
“Autumn has to meet Connor.”
“Oh I see. Make sure he arrives, if he doesn’t make sure she gets home safe.” He ordered.
“I will.”
“Thanks for having me Mr. Stenton.”
“My pleasure hope to see you soon.”
“Sure.”
“Bye Autumn.”
“Bye Mr. Stenton.”
“I’ll be back soon dad.”
He nodded.
Stenton and Autumn left the house, Stenton closed the door behind him. “Let’s go we don’t want Con to think I’ve abducted you!” He smiled laughing.
They walked over to the lake and waited for Connor. “Hey babe, Stenton.”
“Con.”
“Well. I best be going now Con is hers. I’ll see you Monday red, Con.”
“You will.”
“Bye Red.”
“Bye Stenton.”
“Con.”

Stenton walked away, she lay back on the grass closing her eyes. His lips touched hers she quickly opened her eyes.
“So why did Stenton wait with you?”
“His dad told him to until you got here.”
“Figures.”
“He was just making sure I was safe, Con.”
“It’s cool babe, it’s just how he being a cop.”
She nodded.
“Come on let’s get out of her it’s freezing.”
“So shall we go back to mine?”
“Yeah sure.”
He dropped hisar over her shoulders and they walked away. “So has Stenton been to yours yet?”
“No. I don’t think mom can take me having any,more,of my male friends coming round. I think you and Dan are enough for her.”
He nodded agreeing.
Autumn opened the door he dropped his arm off her shoulders following her in., closing the door.
“Mom it’s me. Connor is with me.”
“Okay honey.” Her mom shouts.
“We’re heading up to my room.”
“Sure.”
“Come on.”
“Is it tidy?” He asked.
“As tidy as it will ever be.”
“Okay that doesn’t sound good.”
“I haven’t had time to tidy it.”
And she was right it was a s**t tip . They lay in the bed he looked at her. “So, do you and Stenton get much done?”
“A lot actually he’d getting better slowly.”
“Keep at it babe.” He said, kissing her laying by her side pulling her close to him wrapping his arms around her.
