Chapter 2 - The wedding night.

I watched as people danced and celebrated. Charles was talking to the older elite members. I scanned the room not knowing anyone there. A servant brought over some food and sat it in front of me. I didn’t feel like eating. She sat a plate in the empty seat next to me and I saw Charles approach. He sat next to me and took my hand. I smiled at him and he returned my smile. He began eating and I looked out at all the happy guests.

“You’re not going to eat?” Charles asked.

“Not right now, I’ve been nervous all day.” I said to him.

“No need to be nervous now. The hard part is over.” He said continuing his meal. I started to wonder if he meant the day was the hard part. For me the hard part was just beginning. I was going to have to fake happiness my entire life.

“Come.” Charles said as he wiped his mouth. “Let’s dance.” He stood up and I followed him.

“I’m not very knowledgeable about dance.” I said to him as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

“Just follow my lead.” Charles lead me in a dance and other members joined us on the floor. “You look so beautiful tonight.” He said as he gave me a twirl.

“Thank you. I don’t think I’ve ever dressed up this nice. I’ve always focused on my studies.” I said to him.

“After today, you won’t have to worry about studies. You can start Luna training.” He said with a smile. I forgot about Luna training. “Soon you’ll be Luna and then hopefully we can produce some heirs quickly. Then you’ll be helping our pups learn their magic abilities.” I started to feel panic wash over me. I smiled at him, my insides were exploding. I hadn’t even thought about having pups. The music stopped and he leaned down kissing my hand.

“Shall we continue our celebration or call it a night?” Charles asked.

“I would love to get some fresh air if we can.” I said to him.

“Anything you want. First we will wish my parents a good night. They’ll see to it everything gets wrapped up.” I took his arm once more and we walked up to Luna Hera and Alpha Drake.

“Julia is getting tired, we are going to go now.” Charles said.

“Oh yes dear! It’s been a very full day and I don’t want you to get too tired.” Hera stood up and gave me a hug. “Let me just get a quick word.” Charles nodded and turn to his father and they started to speak. Luna Hera led me outside the doors.

“Now then, I’m sure your mother has already spoken to you about the wedding night.” She said taking my hands. I nodded. “It is your duty to Redmoon to produce us with a heir as soon as possible. The first time may be unpleasant but bear with it and encourage him as much as possible.” I nodded. I started to feel sick thinking about it. “Don’t be worried, it gets easier in time.” After she said that Charles emerged from the reception.

“There’s my wife!” He said coming over and taking my arm. “Pleasant chat?” He asked and I nodded.

“Yes. Thank you Luna, I can’t wait to start training with you.” I said forcing a smile.

“Anything you need, please come to me.” Hera gave me a half hug and retreated back inside. Charles took me down the hall. It was so quiet, the moon was full and beautiful.

“Tell me what your thinking.” Charles said.

“Having children.” It was not wrong because Luna Hera was just talking about it. I couldn’t stop thinking about how I was going to have to have pups as soon as I was able. Charles chuckled.

“Are you eager to start a family?” He asked.

“I’ve never thought about it until today.” I answered him.

“Being a only child, I’ve always wanted a large family.” He said to me.

“I have siblings but I didn’t spend a lot of time with them. I’ve always been studying.” We stopped and I looked around.

“This is our room. I understand if you’re not ready to sleep in the same room and want a guest room.” He said to me.

“It’s ok, you’re my husband. We’ll have to share a bed eventually.” He opened the door and we walked into a grand room. I was in awe when I saw it already had stuff for me like a vanity, and beautiful four post bed with cute pillows.

“My mother decorated it. I hope you like it.” He said closing the door.

“I love it!” I said looking at the book shelf full of books. My mother must’ve told Luna Hera that I loved to read. I suddenly felt Charles wrap his arms around me. He started kissing my neck and I let him. It was my duty I told myself. It’s my duty to the alpha, to Redmoon. He started unbuttoning my dress. He was having difficulty because the dress had so many buttons. I was growing tired of feeling him fumble around with them.

“Just rip it.” I said to him.

“Are you sure?” He said stopping.

“We can just have them fix it if we need to.” I replied. He grabbed each side and ripped it. The buttons flew all over and he dropped my dress to the floor. He ran his hands along my bare back. I covered my breasts with my arms. The air was cold on my body but his hands were so warm. He took his hands away and I turned to see him undressing as well. I looked at his bare body not sure what to make of it. I had never seen a man completely naked before. He took my hands and moved them looking at my bare body as well.

“Julia, you are absolutely beautiful.” It made me slightly uncomfortable the way he looked every inch of me over.

“Thank you.” I said shyly. He took my hand and brought me to the bed. He threw back the covers and helped me up. I laid back and took a deep breath. For Redmoon I told myself as he crawled over the top of me kissing my neck. His hands explored my body. Feeling my breasts and running his fingers over my n*****s. I was unsure what to do still. I placed my hands beside me as he spread my legs. I felt him position himself at my opening. I took a deep breath as once more I felt pain, wincing I yelled out.

“It’s ok.” Charles said to me touching my face. I turned my head into his hand and he ran his thumb a crossed my check. I clenched my eyes shut as he painfully thrust into me. I grabbed into his hand that was placed on my face. Each thrust I yelped in pain. He started to speed up and the pain finally started to die down to a sting. I looked at him hoping he was going to be done soon. He grunted out giving me a hard thrust with a couple more pumps. Finally I thought, He’s done for now. He slowly pulled out kissing my lips. He laid next to me and pulled me in close.

“Sorry, I heard it’s painful for woman the first time.” He hugged me and I laid my head on him.

“I’m ok.” I said back to him. I will have to hope I can learn to enjoy it. He reached down and covered me with the blanket.

“Don’t be alarmed if there’s bleeding, that’s natural.” He said covering himself aswell. I rolled onto my side staring at the wall. Atleast Charles was nicer then the stories I was told. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close. I laid still and waited for sleep.
