The birthday

Libs the fams coming today it's Mani's birthday tomorrow and we've never spent a birthday apart soooooo how would you like to help me get some food ready and make a cake, yeah okay what are we making and what kind of cake, yeah no we aren't I'm making the food and Mani likes chocolate and I don't bake so you'll be on cake duty think you can handle that, a chocolate cake you mean from scratch or a box, yeah about that I have eggs butter flour and all the fixings for a cake you can just look up a recipe right, 

Yeah fine I'm on it can I use the computer,  mmm use the guest computer we need to get your ass a phone ya know I'll rectify that soon enough okay,  

OH MY GODDESS SERIOUSLY YOU'RE GETTING ME A PHONE, staaap seriously you need a phone but you don't need to yell damned I think I'm deaf now thanks for that.... anyway come on let's get to it

Libby looked up the recipe and came into the kitchen she started grabbing all the ingredients she needed to prepare a cake then she grabbed a bowl a cake pan and a measuring cup she put everything on the table and started mixing it all while I made sure I had all the fixings for chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and green beans,  she finished mixing everything poured it into the pan and shoved it into the over then she started washing the dishes and the measuring cup shattered the f*****g thing shattered in her hand...

Oh I'm so sorry I don't know what happened I, I didn't mean to, oh f**k f**k oh FUUUUK you have got to be f*****g kidding me are you serious with this s**t right now I told them I f*****g told them I should have had at least another 3 months at the least, Ummm Sky, SKY IM SORRY 

Sky stormed off toward her office mumbling " a few days old my ass try 4 to 5 months how the hell do you mis.... the door slammed behind her 

Libby cleaned up her mess and picked up all the glass she felt really bad she hadn't meant to break the glass, Sky was a bit of a stickler for having everything done in a particular manner, she never made Libby feel uncomfortable,  unwelcome, or out of place but she did like everything in a particular order, Libby walked to Sky's office and went to knock on the door when she heard Sky inside it sounded like she was on a call, 

No, you aren't listening to me I am telling you she wasn't just a few days old, yes I understand that we knew there was a chance she was older but,  no no ABSOFUCKINLUTLEY NOT, ugh you know what I'll deal with it myself whatever what are you people even good for anyway fine good by I will see you soon...

The next morning Sky woke Libby with a big breakfast in bed then promptly told her she could stay in bed as she was walking out she stopped at the door and she honestly looked crestfallen  she looked back and simply stated eat that all of it it'll help but umm hmm after that just remember don't eat anything okay,  but do eat that it'll help you feel better, 

Hmmm, that's strange I didn't say anything about not feeling well I was trying to keep that to myself ...

Sky's family showed up that afternoon and she asked mani if he wouldn't mind sharing his birthday this year with their sister he was confused since he had been told that her birthday wasn't for another few months,  Sky explained that she had just found out that it was today and apologized said they could just celebrate it on the day she thought it was on but Mani said it was cool add her name to the cake and make it a double birthday he was just happy to be here with his sister,  then they all went and relaxed until it was time for dinner
