Chapter 1-The Worst Day Ever
“What the f**k! What's going on here”Aria exclaimed
She couldn't believe her eyes, all her wedding preparations had just been ruined.
“Aria what the hell, you.., how could you, you have ruined everything. My life, my wedding is over” Susan screamed bringing Aria back to earth.
“I paid you Aria, my family paid you, how could you” Susan said crying her eyes out.
“I…., I am lost Susan, I don't know what happened, this place was looking all perfect. I am sorry Susan, I will fix it”. Aria said confusingly
“Did you just say fix?, my wedding has just being ruined and you say you can fix this how?”.
“My life has just been shattered, the internet is mocking me right now Aria, what exactly can you fix? Tell me” Susan shouted
“I trusted you enough that you can handle my wedding decorations but this is what I get, I hate you Aria, I hate you” Susan angrily said while running out of the building
Aria was shocked, the Grand Eden Hotel was a mess, the decorations were all over the floor, the cake, drinks were spilled all over the floor.
Aria stood in the middle of it all, Susan dressed that was hung around a corner stained with red wine, her heels hanging in different corners of the room. She couldn't believe her eyes
The media will be trending hot right now, she just couldn't imagine what they will be saying about her. Just then her phone buzzed
“I’m pulling out of this partnership, Aria. I can't afford your messes anymore”.
Aria blinked, rereading the text from Stephanie her business partner - now her former- had just ended things with her.
She was lost, this shouldn't be happening to her, no, not now. The family business her mother built before she died has just crumbled right before her eyes and there is nothing she could do.
The client who was going to launch her into luxury was gone, everything was just falling apart.
Just then the voice of her landlord came ringing in her ears, her rent was two weeks overdue and she hadn't even raised up to half of the money.
Great her life, career and future have automatically been ruined
Aria sat at the long couch in the sitting room all curled up in the scent of the tragic day.
“C'mon Aria, you can't blame yourself for what had happen” Maya said
Maya has always been her best friend since childhood, she has been with her throughout her journey, even during the period she lost her mom, Maya has always been there and here she was again trying to cheer her up.
“Here, take drink up” Maya offered her a glass of red wine
“Why me, why does everything have to go bad, I have planned myself for this Maya. I didn't deserve this” Aria said while crying
“None of this is your fault okay! Mistakes do happen. Aria you are the best event planner I know and anyone that fails to see it is their lost okay, cheers up baby girl”. Maya have always been sweet with words
“You need to reset, how about Vegas?” Maya said while pouring her another glass of wine
“Vegas” Aria laughed bitterly
“C’mon, you need to chill and have fun, you just need to forget about everything that happened”
“Come on”, Maya grinned “I have already booked the flight, flight leave in two hours”
“I am not taking no as an answer”. Maya shouted while walking towards the kitchen
In the plane, Aria stared outside the windows, she was full of emotions, she just really needed to get over all that happened and plan her life again.
This was the perfect plan, she will surely enjoy herself.
“You didn't tell me we were going to a club” Aria asked while staring at the huge building in front of her. It was a two storey building with a rooftop, it's clearly a club for the rich.
“If I had told you, you wouldn't have come, come inside” Maya said hurriedly
“But I am not dress for clubbing” Aria said
“Don't worry about that, I got you covered”.
Entering into the club, Aria was shocked, it was well decorated, full of people.
“Follow me, let's get dressed”. Maya said, bringing her back to earth.
Entering the dressing room, it was also filled with people. “Wear this”, Maya said, hanging a dress over to Aria.
“Go over there and I will use this one here”. Maya said while pointing a spare room for Aria
Aria quickly collected the dress, and entering the room she quickly got dressed. Coming out she couldn't see Maya.
“She will still be inside” She thought
“WOW, Aria you look beautiful” Maya said, bringing her back to earth.
“C'mon you don't look bad yourself, you are beautiful Maya” said Aria
“We both know well that when it comes to beauty, you are an exception” Maya said
Aria has always been a tall girl with nice curves, her brown bright eyes have always made her look so beautiful. Unlike Maya she was also tall but did not have sharp curves like Aria. That was the major difference between both of them
“Enough of the agreement okay, come on let's go have fun”. Aria said dragging Maya into the club
Entering the club, they went to the bar stand to get a drink
“Two glass of cocktail please” Maya said to the bartender
Few minutes later he came hanging the drink to Maya
“Just a glass of this is enough to make you forget your worries”, Maya said hanging the glass of Aria
“Thanks” Aria said taking the drink from Maya
Taking a sip, “it's really good Maya” Aria happily said
“Enjoy yourself baby girl, let's meet outside the club by 11pm” and with that Maya went into the crowd.
Aria sat on the chair watching the people dancing from afar. She finished her drink and kept on asking for more.
She was already getting drunk, she couldn't feel herself, everywhere was hot and stuffy, she needed some air.
Climbing up to the rooftop with her glass of cocktail there she met him.
He was a man in a sleek black suit, leaning against the balcony rails holding a glass of whiskey. Aria was lost in his dark eyes; they gave a sense of both danger and control.
“Rough night” he said catching her stare
“It's been a whole lot” Aria said while avoiding his gaze
“Mind sharing?” He questioned.
They talked, laughed and flirted spending the whole night out on the balcony.
Waking up, Aria felt a sharp headache, she was laying on a bed. While getting up she felt something on her hand.
It was a gold wedding ring
“What the f**k……, where am I and why is it on my finger?” Aria screamed.
Just beside her, a voice came in
“Good morning Mrs. Kingsley” came the man earlier from the bar.
“What…..! W-who are you and what am I doing here? Aria questioned.
