The occasions

Sarah hurriedly run to her friend's bed "No...no...no....no Glen.....Glen ....Glen ....stay with me. Please don't do this , don't give up on us please" she mourned in clamour.

"why does it have to her.....This is not fair ...she did nothing wrong but she has suffered enough to die this way....why......??"Sarah asseverated.

She was soaked in tears. She looked at Glen's daughter and she became more emotional.

"Sarah please come"Mr. Akins called out to his wife. He gave her a warmth hug and he consoled her"its will be okay my dear"he said sorrowfully.

She sobbed in her husband's arms."its OK Sarah ...the gods are wise. "Mr. Akins said while consoling his wife.

They both set off to prepare a final burial right for their friend. In few moments, the preparation was ready.

Well.... they didn't have to make the occasion too flashy, just a simple gathering.

In a white cloth , Glen's corps was rapped and laid into a casket.

A few friends who also had the chance to meet Glen were also present to give their condolences.

Sarah sat about eight feet behind the casket as she watched her friend's body lay in ruin.

She still couldn't believe her eyes and accept her friend's death.

Now it was time to take responsibility of the promise she made.

As they all sat to mourn their friend, four strong well built muscled men walked in through the door.

Sarah with her reddened and swollen eyes raised her head and took a quick glance at those men.

She asked"what do you want?"like she had forgotten exactly who they are.

Her question released a frown on their faces.

Then one of them replied" sorry but you were the one who hired us for the burial of your sister".

"Yeah...sorry about that. Just don't mind me I don't feel too well.

You can go ahead and do your job" Sarah said in tears.

"Thank you"they replied and the four muscled men walked to their duty.

It was then that Sarah realized really believed that her friend was gone and never to be seen again.

"Sarah my dear !" Mr. Akins called out with a soft gentle voice.

"Please stay back and take care of the house and I will go with them to ensure a proper burial of our sister" he continued.

Sarah nodded, stood up and signed then walked straight to the room where the playful baby lay.

She leaned on the wall just beside the baby's bed as she watched the child play peacefully.

Mr. Akins had left with the men to bury Glen. After few hours Mr. Akins returned.

The atmosphere was not cheerful though but what else could they do.

He stood quietly watching his wife as she feeds the baby.

He signs and walked towards them. "May I ?"he uttered softly as he sort permission to hold the baby.

"yes you may" Sarah said with a faint smile. His two iron warmth arms climbed around the fluffy muscled baby.

"Aww such a beauty. She looks just like her mom"he said gently as he burped the baby and with his deep voice he sang a lullaby.

" mmh... Sarah!"he called. "Yes"his wife responded.

"Have you thought of a name for the baby"he queried.

"You always forget"she said with a smile and walked towards her husband and the child.

"She was given a name even before birth she shall be called Reign Ababio, just like her mother craved and Ababio because she is a perfect reincarnation of her mother" she murmured then sat beside her husband and cuddled with them.

"Such a beautiful name just like yourself."he said to the baby and they both chuckled.

"Please its getting darker prepare a warm bathe for our bouncing baby "Mr. Akins asked his wife.

Sarah walked to the bathroom and prepared a special warm bath for the baby.

She bathed the baby gently, dried her skin and dressed her in a very cute looking baby jumpsuit.

"Aww...look how pretty my baby looks"she said.

She put the baby to sleep. Mr. Akins sat quietly and watch the two souls cheerfully and signed inwardly.

She laid the baby on its bed and gave it a good night kiss and her husband did same.

"Don't you think we should give the baby a proper naming ceremony? " he asked Sarah giving the baby a cheerful gaze.

"Well its a good idea. I think we should also introduce her as our own" she answered.

They smiled at each other and jumped into their bed.

The couple kissed and greeted each other goodnight.

Three days after, they made preparations for the baby's naming rite which was in two days.

The house was decorated with flowers and chandeliers.

The house looked flourishing and this restored the joyful mood in the house.

Family and friends had already started bringing in gifts for the baby.

Two mornings, two afternoons and two evenings passed and it was now due for the ceremony.

The cold morning sun swept across the building.

Mr. Akins and Sarah were dressed in white so a the baby.

Sarah wore a flawless fish gown with pearl designs across the dress.

She had a headwrap made of golden crystals and white synthetic sunflowers with a crystal glass flat heel.

Mr. Akins wore an immaculate white suit which perfectly fitted his muscled body.

The flashy baby girl also wore a shiny white laced baby gown with ocean blue shoes.

Everybody adored the little baby girl. Music continued to play and the guests also danced to beat.

Food was served to the guests and everybody sat at their table.

Mr. Akins walked to the platform and took the microphone.

"Hello...."he spoke into the the microphone and soon he had the spotlight. All eyes were thrown on him.

He continued"please the ceremony is about to start.

Let's welcome our MC for the day "an applause was shared as the MC took the microphone.

" Thank you Mr. Akins. My name is Austin and I'm here to make this occasion a blissful one"he introduced himself.

"Now today is a wonderful day for doll - like baby girl.

Please with a round of applause let's invite pastor Kaith to announce the name of our child"he continued with an invitation.

"Thank you Mr. MC. Good morning ladies and gentlemen."

Pastor Kaith greeted and continued"please may I have the father and mother on stage please"she requested humbly.
