The Cursed She Wolf

Episode 4

Adolphus has been feeling strange for the past few days. He had a feeling that a stranger

was in his pack. He got a whiff of a strange sweet smell but it was just for a moment. He has

been searching for the owner of the smell since then. He also sent his beta Lyall to investigate if

there was any stranger on the pack. He didn't want what happened when he just became an

Alpha ten years ago to repeat itself.

He vowed to never allow a stranger on his pack. He was determined to find the stranger and

send he or she out of his pack.

On the night of the full moon, after giving out instructions to his pack members to be on a

outlook for a strange human or wolf who could be a danger to their safety, he dashes into the

forest in his wolf form and he caught a whiff of the sweet scent again, but this time it was

stronger than few days ago. The full moon made him feel stronger and his senses were sharper

than it was normally. Adolphus follows the scent and he appears at the lone house

belonging to a pack member who has been away for a while, he catches a silhouette moving

towards the window he was facing the curtains were moved to the side and he freezes when he

saw purple glowing eyes. Adolphus regains his senses and dashes back into the forest.

Hazel blinks when she realizes that the golden eyes were gone, it vanished like it was never

there, but she was sure she saw the beautiful golden eyes.

As if in a trance Hazel runs to the front door of the house and hesitates a little before she

pulls the door open. Hazel was awed by how beautiful everything seemed at night, she looked

at the forest where she saw the golden eyes and was surprised she could see that far without a

torch, she could also hear things that were pretty distance from her.

Hazel looks towards the forest again and she felt like something was calling out to her in

the forest. She could hear a painful howl and afaint heartbeat, she dashes off in the direction it

was coming from.

Adolphus was still running in his wolf form,he had no idea why he was running. He was

sure the owner of the purple eyes was the stranger because he knew the sweet scent was hers.

Adolphus stopped in his track when he hears movement around him. He was trying to figure out

where the movement was coming from and who it was but he couldn't, he couldn't smell

anything as if the person or creature was scentless which was impossible because he knew

everything and everyone has their own scent unless, whosoever it was masked their scent.

At this realization, he knew he was in danger because the only reason werewolves mask

their scent is to do something in secret. Before he could run, he felt arrows piercing his back

and he howls in pain. He knew he had been shot with arrows laced with wolfsbane when he felt

the familiar burning sensation around the area where he was shot. Adolphus tries to keep

walking when he's shot with another arrow on his leg and he falls down on the floor unable to

get up again.

Adolphus was getting weaker, he couldn't even change to his human form. He knew the full

moon was the only thing keeping him alive with the amount of wolfsbane and silver in his

system. He laid there motionlessly and tries to make his heart keep beating and he prays to the

moon goddess that someone hears his heartbeat and comes to save him.

Hazel stops in her track when she sees a huge black creature lying in the pool of his blood.

Strangely, she didn't feel afraid of it. The creature opens it's eyes and she realizes they were

golden in color like the ones she saw earlier.

“Mate!” the word echoes in their head at the same time. Hazel had no idea what it meant

and Adolphus was surprised. Hazel rushes towards him to help him, she couldn't help but shiver

when she felt electricity buzzing through her entire body.

“What are you, how did you get hurt?” Hazel whispers. Adolphus in his wolf form felt like a

blanket of warmth was placed upon him when he hears her voice, he couldn't help but snuggle

closer to her and he lets the darkness takes over him in the safety of her arms.

Hazel was in a dilemma when she saw that the creature was unconscious. She had no idea

what to do. She wanted to call for help when she suddenly hears rustling behind her, Before she

could turn around and see what it was, she's suddenly picked up from the ground she could feel

air behind her neck and she knew she was held between the teeth of a creature and she

screams out of fear “ah!!!, let go of me please don't eat me” she continues to thrash around with

tears in her eyes.

Hazel could feel the sharp teeth of the creature grazing her neck, she struggles to leave the

firm grip of the creature when she sees that the distance between her and the black

unconscious creature increasing.

“No no no, please let me take care of the creature he - - -” whatever she was about to say

was cut off when she felt what was holding on to her increase its speed, Hazel had no idea

where they were going and she couldn't see a thing as the creature was running at an alarming

rate.

Hazel is shocked when she's suddenly dropped to the ground. She stays in a position to

catch her breath and to prevent the food she ate for dinner earlier from coming back up. She

raises her head to look at her surroundings and is shocked to see that they were at the front

Selena's house, she turns around and her eyes widens with fear, she screams and takes a few

steps back “S- -Selen- -a?”
