Michael's POV
Sitting in my office, I heard a knock on the door. " Come in" I said. The door opened and the beautiful lady from 2 days ago came into view.
**Flashback**
After the collision with the beautiful lady, I walked towards Dad's office and waited for him. I saw a note on his desk and read it. From the content of the note, I'm obviously not meeting my new assistant today. " What's that?" Dad asked, walking into the office." Your assistant had an emergency I guess" I replied, handing him the note. " Ohh I hope her mom's okay. Let's head to the meeting room. The directors are waiting." He said and I nodded. We walked to the meeting room and met with the directors. Dad introduced me and each of them introduced themselves. The meeting lasted for 4 hours and I went back to the office while dss went home. After some time. I went home and told Dad to give her a day off.
**Back to present day**
"Good morning sir" She greeted with her melodious voice. I was captivated by her voice but I decided not to show it.
" And you are?" I asked coldly. Wow Michael. Nice one ( note the sarcasm)
" I'm Abigail, Mr Wilson's assistant" She said confidently. Thank God I didn't scare her off.
" Okay. Bring me the files from each department" I ordered her.
" Yes sir" She said and walked out.
ABIGAIL'S POV
Wow. My new boss is grumpy. I was shocked when I saw him in the office. Apparently, the human wall I collided into is my new boss. I'll have to apologize for that later. I hurriedly got the files he asked for and brought them to him. I dropped it on his table and gave him a brief explanation of what each of the files contained.
" That should be all for now" I told him and he humed in response. I nodded politely and left his office.
I heaved a sigh of relief as I sat on my chair in my office.
' What's wrong with him. He's so rude. I can't believe he's Mr Wilson's son. ' I said in my thoughts and continued with my routine.
** LATER THAT DAY
I checked the time and saw that it was lunch time. I went to his office and knocked.
" Come in " He said from inside. I went in and asked if he wanted me to order lunch for him. He said no and and left his office. I walked to the company's cafeteria and as I stepped in, someone called my name. I looked ahead and saw Jack walking towards me. Oh my God not again. Jack has been asking me out since I joined the company but I keep refusing him. I bet he doesn't take a no for an answer. He thinks time will change my mind. Hehe dream on bro.
" Hi Jack "
" How are you doing today" he asked.
" I'm fine thank you" I answered, walking away. I don't have energy for his unnecessary talks.
" How are you coping with the new boss. Heard he's grumpy" He said walking with me. Can't he just understand that I'm not in the mood today?
" He's nice" I replied, taking a seat. He sat with me and he was boring me with his unnecessary talks. I just nod or hummed in. response, continuing with my food. I stood up after eating and asked him to excuse me.
" See you later" He said and waved. I just walked away without replying.
**5:00 PM the same day
I stood up and packed my stuffs, went to Mr Michael's office and bid him goodbye. He just nodded and continued with his walk. Went out of the company's building and boarded a taxi and went home.
" Madam welcome" Joy greeted as I entered
" Hey. How was your day?" I asked her.
" As usual. Now tell me about yours" She demanded.
" Joy you won't believe what happened today at the office. The handsome man I walked into few days ago that I told you about is my new boss" I told her
"Are you serious? Girl you're living in my fantasy" She said. Apparently she wants to experience an office romance.
" Then stop working from home" I joked. We both laughed and I went into my room
