AVYANNA COSTELLO Lately I felt like the fountain that gave me inspiration was dried up, I had just one painting left to complete for the charity ball and it was proving to be the hardest because I had no idea on what to paint. It felt like I was walking in circles because my everyday schedule was the same; wake up,eat breakfast,go to work, get frustrated because I had no inspiration, go home, eat dinner and go to bed. I was tired of it. Right now I was at work, sitting in front of a blank canvas like I have been doing for the past few days. I was about to smash my head against the wall when I was suddenly called in to the manager office. I walked over to her office wondering why she called me over. The walk to her office was short and in no time I was at her door debating on whether to knock or just act like I hadn't heard her calling me. I took a deep breath and knocked "Come in" she called out. I opened the door and walked in and she motioned for me to sit. I settled in one of the chairs in front of her. She looked up at me and adjusted her glasses before speaking "I called you here to talk about your paintings" " what about my paintings, are they not good enough? I promise I can do better" I rambled on because I was panicking. She smiled and cut me off " no,no there's nothing wrong with your paintings, I wanted to discuss the charity ball with you, not to put any pressure on you but I just wanted to let you know how important the ball is to our reputation, as I'm sure you know the ball is usually hosted every year by the richest and most important families over the year" she paused to take a look at my expression. " This year, the ball will be hosted by the Ferrari's, as I'm sure you know the Ferrari's are one of the most important if not the most important family in New York, so this ball could make or break your career as an artist which is why you need to put your best in it" she continued. I let the information sink in before looking up at her and replying "I understand, I won't let you down". She smiled and nodded, then dismissed me. I was walking over to the door when she spoke up "oh, and Avyanna you are required to go to the ball so if I were you I'd start looking for a dress" she continued whatever it was that she was doing. I walked out of her office and back to my space before sitting down and letting the information overwhelm me. I thought for about 30 minutes before deciding to start. I googled the Ferrari family and to my surprise the hot stranger who had saved me was part of the Ferrari family and even the CEO of their multi billionaire company. Suddenly after that I knew what to paint. Hours after that I was elbows deep in paint, when I was finally done with the painting it was around 7'o clock. I was finally done. Now all I had to worry about was finding a dress but luckily my best friend specialized in those sort of stuff. But right now all I wanted to do was go home, soak in a bubble bath for like an hour, eat dinner and go to bed. I submitted the paintings to be sent over and headed home. When I got home, I met Ariel setting the table for dinner, I went to freshen up, then sat down at the table to eat dunner. After eating and cleaning up, we sat down in the living room to watch a movie and i told Ariel about how we would need to go shopping for the ball since she was also going with me as my plus one, it was safe to say my left ear will be taking a vacation from working for at least a few days with how loud she squealed after hearing that we were going shopping. After the movie, we went to bed and I was fast asleep
