Earth on Sight: Red Alert

The definitive source of energy, that's how they called. Discovered on Mars on 2047, the Atonium promised to be the clean and unlimited source of energy that mankind always wanted, though it never could been predicted the catastrophe that will happens because of such incredible material. Discovered by the master and scientific genius Silas Esino, creator of the foto-processors and the Orbital Network. In the begining it was hard to connect it to the energetic infrastructure, because of the poor data that was had about it, but thanks to the Orbital Distribution Network and the foto-processor system that was implemented years later, it finally could be given to the Atonium a very necessary use. That also result to be two-hundred times more powerful than the conventional energy and it didn't emit any kind of pollutant. Silas did the impossible with his discovery, and it will not stop there, successfully turning the Atonium in the fuel that will leave the oil obsolete 'cause of it efficiency and long capability of autonomy. It was starting a new era for technology, and Silas being 77 years old, will give the Atonium to the military research with the hope that they will the ones that will continue it's work in his future absence, that how the A.R.D.A. was born, an agency destinated to the development of the technology and the ultimate generation weaponry for the defense and the armies of tomorrow. Thing that will open the door to more advanced mechanical combat elements, the Mech-Armor tech and it's many variants for every environment and situation. Powerful armors with autonomous functionality that will be the replacement for the arsenal of the old modern wars, surpassing by far the conventional tanks, fighters and ships, without leaving behind that characteristic braveness spirit of the veteran troops, who seem to adapt very to the change of arsenal, even giving ideas to the development team of the armors itself.   And example of some variants are the Kaiser-Juggernaut, the Variable-Warrior, and some more. But this will be nothing without the incredible performance of the brigade pilots, soldiers that in a real combat situation will give even his life for the cause of peace. In his last decades of life, more precisely on 2094, Silas will the greatest legacy of all his career, nobody knows what could it be or where it is, because the proyect was cancelled due to security stuff. Many people think that it could be a very powerful weapon and because of that it couldn't be finished. Others think that is related with a new model of Mech-Armor, but they are just theories. Sadly, the famous scientist that give life to the next century, has to leave is position in the A.R.D.A. on the next months. Finally everything will pass to the hands of his closer assistants. A party would be done in his honor on January 17th of the next year, the unimaginable career of the priceless scientist was finally over. ____________________________________________ Meanwhile this happens on Earth, on a distant system of the Andromeda's galaxy. A terrible war was unleashing the chaos between two alien civilizations, the Tarastrian warriors and the millenary empire of the Yimaga, that since its creation sow the terror on the galaxy. With great fleets and armies under its command, this empire will leave nothing of his opponent but ash in only eight long combats on the darkness of the space, and a last definitive one on the natal planet of the terminated Tarastrians. This last one was the only who cause more havoc, leaving more than one million imperial casualties, without counting the lost of ships, corsairs, and AI controlled machines of its twisted arsenal. This was the only moment of all the war, where the Tarastrians give everything to defend their planet from the dark claws of the Yimaga.   For the end of the battle, the desperate Tarastrians pray for mercy to its mortal enemy. Who coldly ignore the meaned offer, finishing killing its people one for all, leaving a total of 870.000.000 of civilian and military casualties. This way they will secure for them a new space fortress and mining camps for its large military industry. But this will not last for long, 'cause the weakened planet will succumb to time and will transform into a supernova, leaving the empire adrift in the bast space for the second time searching for new planets to explode.
