Chapter 11. Maya

The sound of alarm woke me up from my peaceful dream. Taking a moment in bed to listen to my thoughts and do little praying. Today was going to be hectic doing up and down food preparation for tomorrow, luckily the venue provided small kitchen and cold room with enough storage so no need to cook at my kitchen work place and transporting the food, interior designing was already done Debra is more than capable of doing the touch ups and she knows what to do and touched bases with her yesterday. Before calling it the day have to see Tonya to check if she is good dress, hair, makeup and also check the groom.

I actually woke up 2 hours before my actually wake up scheduled, because I wanted to pop by the condo just see what is needed food, toiletries I already asked if I can go any time and Tom just said even at 2a.m I can go, he already called the security. So it's 5a.m now took a shower decided to be casual heels won't work today. In my high waist skinny jeans, green tshirt the front tucked in my jeans and green sneakers, tide my hair in a messy bun. Going to my car with my mini bag, handbag, laptop bag, toilet bag, shoe bag, 2 suit cover for Saturday. Here we go the beginning of a forbidden relationship with the bad boy.

I drove to his condo and yes the security was waiting for me. It took 45min to get to his place from my place still had time as my day started at 8a.m today. Looking around the condo it was wow for one it was huge the furniture oh my god I'm not inviting this man to my place. The living room all grey with a touch of cream, the chandelier I will have to budget for it for 2 years before I can afford it, going to the main room the kitchen the marble counter to die for opening the refrigerator it's empty figures, opening cupboards only crockery , glasses, pots no food so I need to do home delivery before he arrives. Going upstairs it's a two bedroom condo not sure where to put my things I already left them in corridor. The guest room I'm assuming, it's all white with joining walk in closet I don't even have a walk in closet and it has its own bathroom with toilet. Moving to the next I was speechless the bed was bigger than mine it was all black figures it's for a guy even curtains were black, the walk in closet was bigger than my bedroom let's not even talk about the bathroom and toilet. If his condo it's like this what about his house Maya this smells trouble. Satisfied with my inspection calling Debra

" Morning Maya"

"Morning Debra, I'm suppose to start doing perishable food items for tomorrow and something came up, I know you have to start at the office and go to venue around 11a.m so I need you to do the shopping for the perishable food items, so skip the office thing it can wait. You have a copy of to do list and you have the company card, I will see at the venue"

" No problem Maya" we hanged up decided to go for the condo shopping myself so that I can pack it for him. So went shopping bought what thought was necessary came back packed everything.

To Tom: Did some groceries for us and already packed them, hope that's okay. see you later not sure of time but will update you ❤️❤️

Send the message no reply, he is still in the air. He did send me a w******p when he took off. Now heading to the venue Debra told me she is done with shopping and was at venue already.

Arriving at the venue saw Debra in her sneakers also I smiled thinking so no heels for today. She gave me an update which everything was okay. Today Tonya they had a rehearsal dinner at a restaurant, luckily I wasn't responsible for that.

To Tonya: Hey bride to be, I will pop by around 6p.m to check on everything before your rehearsal dinner

From Tonya: No problem. Hope everything it's going well with the preparation

To Tonya: all good, just worry about looking beautiful tomorrow

Putting on my chef jacket heading to the kitchen to find my staff busy with preparation.

" All good with preparation starter, main,dessert " was very loud when I asked so that everyone could hear me

" Yes chef" They all answered same time

Getting down to business. Time flew and haven't touched my phone actually left it in my car. Send one of staff to grap it from. Missed FaceTime from Tom. Message from Lisa, Jason and Tom

From Tom: Beautiful just landed and arrived at the condo. No stress with doing the grocery will refund you. Though I don't know how to cook so what am I going to feed you tonight cause I know you won't have time to cook

To Tom: Hey baby sorry I missed your FaceTime. No need for refund. Just buy take away for yourself as I will eat at work. Will be back around 10p.m had to see the bride before I go to sleep.

From Jason: Babes I haven't seen you for a while what time you off from work ?

To Jason: Hey I'm good. came back late last night wanted to check on you but decided otherwise. I won't be around for couple of days work thing. we will hook up when I comes back ??

From Lisa: Hey girl good luck with your tomorrow's event

Everything sorted with my menu preparation tomorrow I won't be in the kitchen will be in my heels making sure everything it's all good. I have Debra also. Now let me go see Tonya it was around 6p.m. My visit with Tonya was easy everything from her, groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen was sorted. Now at 10p.m I'm heading to Tom's condo nervous as hell.
