Chapter 10. Maya

Days turned weeks, and weeks slowly turning to months, Everything with Tom was going smoothly. We talked every day, did FaceTime in the morning and evenings. We were even planning on meeting since I had a busy schedule coming up with Tonya's wedding in a week, Mrs.Brian charity event in two weeks' time, and also the new client event. So we decided our meeting will happen after I dealt with my schedule and for Tom it wasn't an issue anytime was okay for him, I mean he can afford just to travel back and forth without worrying about his pocket, and he was willing to come here and I was so against it knowing I'm still hiding it from Lisa until I'm sure this is it plus I'm also against going to Brazil because of the issue I still need to address about Leo. I was saved when Tom said he still wants to keep this on the low key until we are both ready to go public, so he also didn't want me to visit him at his place yet. So we just settled we will pick a country where we will meet and spend time together for at least 2 weeks.

I have been so busy I haven't seen Lisa for weeks and we just spoke only over the phone and I was tempted to just tell her about Tom but I just wanted to enjoy this moment to myself. Leo, we spoke now and again, and the beautiful name calling stopped. It was on Thursday, and Tonya's wedding was on Saturday. I was at the venue busy with the interior designing crew making final touch-ups with the venue decorations. Flowers will arrive on Saturday morning so far everything was good. Groceries for the menu was ticked off the list, the cake was going to be delivered Saturday also morning, Tonya's wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses were delivered and also the groom suit and groomsmen suits were delivered. Busy with ticking off my to-do list.. My phone rang Lisa

" Ooooh babes, I miss you, and we can't do our Friday thing as I have a wedding on Saturday."

" No sweats, babes, I miss you too. we can do lunch during the coming week and catch up. "

" Sure thing will text you on which day and check if you are available, where you at?"

" Hospital have to do an operation on a 2 year old, god I hate it when I have to operate on innocent young babies, why did I choose this career again babes" I could hear from the way she sounded that she was stressed

" You choose it cause you know you are good at it and you know noone can save that little girl life except for Lisa Martins, she is in good hands and you are blessed with those good hands and brains"

She giggled. " You really know how to make me feel better?"

" That's my job, babes," I said, blowing a kiss over the phone, and she did the same.We said our goodbye and had to go to the office to finalize some things with Debra. This coming few weeks work might be hectic, it was already 6p.m when I arrived at the office. Finalizing paper work it was around 9p.m. when I left for home, and Debra had already left around 7p.m.

I was so tired thought of knocking on Jason door then looked at the time decided otherwise, went straight to my apartment then straight to my bedroom took a shower and put on my night wear crooped top that you can actually see tips of my boobs and shorts that you can actually tips of my ass,it was spring now. Getting into bed, my mind drifted to Tom. we only spoke this morning before we started our day. Deciding to FaceTime or text just when I was about to FaceTime, he beats me to it.

" Hey Love" ooh, we are no longer on a Tom basis

"Oi Lindo - hi beautiful"

" I was about to FaceTime you, you beat me to it," I giggled

" Yeah. How was your day, beautiful?" I swear this man is going to be the death of me. When calls me beautiful Ooooh the way it rolls on his tongue.

" Hectic, I just arrived like 20 minutes ago, and you my love, how was your day?"

" Not bad, I couldn't stop thinking about you, though. What are you wearing?"

I didn't need to explain it to him I just removed my blankets and showed him what I'm wearing. I heard him cursing.

" Did you wear that on purpose knowing I will want to see what you are wearing?"

Blushing and turning all red, I giggled

"No love I wouldn't do that to you"

" Beautiful please allow me to come tonight, I will be on plane within 20 minutes "

I laughed at his comment tempted to say yes

" What about your work?"

" I can make up some meetings and ask Leo to cover for me"

" You do know Lisa has my key and she can just pop up unannounced "

" I can book a hotel, and if she pops she will find house to let"

Deep in thoughts debating with my mind

" I have busy schedule lately, what will you be doing with yourself when I work?"

" I will be working over the phone and my laptop plus I have few clients I can do rounds with them to check if they are satisfied"

" Okay"

" okay I can call my pilot now?"

" Yes" I couldn't believe I'm doing this

" So I will send you details now about the hotel, and when my flight land. sounds good?"

" Yes Love. can't wait to see you"

" Me too beautiful "

Immediately after we hanged up I got out of bed to pack mini bag as I won't have time to do it in the morning otherwise will just pop in if I needed anything. My phone message alert came through

From Tom: Beautiful my flight will leave at 12a.m meaning will land there around 12p.m and ooh sorry babes I didn't mention I have a condo there in London will that do or you prefer a hotel?

Thinking about it a hotel makes me look like some random hook up while the condo its his place and makes it more official.

To Tom: Condo will do love, so it means I will be coming over after work though is that cool?

From Tom:Sure do work first, but will text the address and let the security know you are coming for the key, so anytime you can drop off your bags even if it's before I land, it's still cool

To Tom: Okay see you then night love

From Tom: Night babe. Ooooh the condo it's already cleaned every week someone comes over so don't stress about the cleaning.
