I am confused what the hell is even Elena talking about. I don't know what is she trying to do when she pulls me in front of Lazarus' door.
I didn't even had the time to think about what she said earlier. So Lazarus drained my blood because she is attracted to me? That seems wrong.
"What I am going to do here?" I asked him with annoyance.
She just point the door by pouting her lips and hide. I don't even know what is the deal here.
But I am sure Elena won't do something that will make me flustered or get in danger so I just knock.
A few seconds have passed before Lazarus opened the door. He looked annoyed but when he saw me—the knot in his forehead vanish.
I was stunned by his face and remembered what Elena told me.
Is that really true? But how on earth..? I thought she hated Genevierre?
"Are you just going to stare at me?" He asked, angry. "Did you knock just to annoy?"
"No..."
Now what I am going to do? Elena just told me to knock and see what happened!
"Then what?" He is grumpy. This is far from what Elena told me earlier. "Do you want to add something to the rule? The contract favors you in all ways. Isn't this unfair?" He hissed me his words like he is controlling some anger.
I rolled my eyes with his attitude. Whipped!? Does this rude guy look like whipped!? He is more grumpy than someone would beg something from me!
"Then you shouldn't sign it in the first place if you think it was unfair in your part!"
His eyebrows met because of my tone and lean his face on me. I just gritted my teeth in return and acted tough.
"How can I say no to that? You are wasiting my energy last night! The moment I said I don't like it—you will just change the words and rewrite it!"
"Then you should've do something then! At least debate why didn't you like that or push it away!"
He rolled his eyes. "We almost sleep with the sun rising!"
"Then you should've said agree if you don't like wasting your time..."
He licked his lower lip and before looking at me again, annoyed.
"Should I just kick you from the castle?"
I pouted my lips and shook my head in annoyance. "I should go now—"
I was about to walk out in an instand when Lazarus just pulled me to his dark, and cold room.
"Lazarus!" I shrieked in disbelief.
"Your rules only apply when you are in your room or in danger. You are now... perfectly fine and in my room..."
"Lazarus!"
I tried to think of our rules last night.
THE AGREEMENT: First rule, no one shall just pull you randomly for a drink.
"But this is counted from other rules! The rule number 1! You shouldn't just pull me—"
"I didn't pull you here. You knock." He said and showed a grin.
Where is Elena!? I wanted to shout for help but his lips started to brush mine!
"Do... you really like me, Lazarus!?" I hissed in annoyance and tried to push him away from me.
"Don't," he warned. "You entered, right?"
I gulped and shook my head. "I didn't even entered—"
"But you came. According to rule number six, once you get here, especially in my room–the contract will be nothing in use."
My eyes widened in disbelief. I write what!?
"I don't remember writing that!"
"Because you didn't," he laughed. "You told me to put a rule that I wanted. That."
My mouth almost fall with his words. Right, he is correct. Why did I even let him decide on his own!?
"So shall I just get some blood from you—"
Lazarus was cut off when Elena started to bang the door.
"Don't touch her! I am going with her!" Elena bang the door.
That was my opportunity to escape from him. I opened the door and just runaway as fast as I can!
So what Elena said is true! Lazarus was never aggressive towards me unless he just tease me around!
"Ma'am," I called the courtladies. "Do you think the princes likes me?"
Or it was just the blood itself? I think he likes me because of my blood! I am still trying to comprehend it, and I cannot agree of what Elena said!
All of them nodded their head. "Yes princess. This is the first time I saw the prince runs after you. I am happy for you, Princess!" They all cheered for mr.
"I think he only likes the blood... and not me." It was suppose to be a whisper but they all look at me in disbelief.
It's already night and I am getting ready for sleeping.
"I think the prince genuinely likes you, princess Genevierre. Princess Lazarus isn't like that to just anyone—"
"Do you think affectionate means draining me to death?" I asked them again.
I still cannot believe that they are romanticizing what happened to me. Like? Desired?
The courtladies started to shook their head and defended the history. I am just listening to them but never understand it.
I am finished and getting ready for bed when I saw Lazarus in my room!
The courladies left us behind, and he just have a wicked grin.
"What!?" I glared at him. "Do you really like my blood that much that's why you are here?"
"How did you know?" He laughed at me. "You should rest. Tomorrow will be a very long day for you... and me."
I feel irritated.
"What? What's up with tomorrow? I am not even resting yet—"
"Your tone starting to irritate me. Could you just lower your voice? Should I just tell the Aristocrats—"
I jump on the bed and cover myself into blanket.
"Fine, fine! Just leave!"
This prince... Tsk, just like I thought, he only wanted the blood. Not me.
