Chapter 4

They took me to my room and my heart beat faster.They opened the door and what I saw shocked me.I saw

 a girl in a pink shorts and a blue crop top,painting her nails on her bed.She had her headphones on,she 

didn't hear me come in.Next to her was a girl with short black hair who was talking too much.And at the 

end of the room,there was a girl with maroon hair who looked like she was engrossed in whatever book she

 was reading. The scene went on for 5 more seconds and then silence.All eyes were on me as I walked to 

empty bed that was for me.I dropped my bag and stared back at them.The girl with short black hair was the

first to introduce herself."Hi!I'm Amber!You must be the new girl that everyone was talking about!".People 

were talking about me?Oh no.I nodded at managed to give a very, very small smile.Then she went on and 

on ranting about herself,our roommates and the school.I guess she thought I had gone lost in 

thought,because she had snapped her fingers in my face and I was brought back to reality. Like,she's a 

nice girl and all,coming up to me.But I really didn't want her spit spraying my face and entering my eyes.As 

for the other girl, she acted like I wasn't even there.Perfect.The maroon hair girl was still engrossed in her 

book.It was like she entered another world.I like that feeling.I took off my shoes and relaxed for a moment.I 

find it difficult to take in all the changes that just took place in my life.
