Chapter 7Jerico held Hugo down, silently urging Teo to run out the door. He didn’t think Azura would stop him, and with Teo out of the room, they could finish this. He growled as Hugo struggled underneath him. When he tried to turn, he snapped his teeth in his face. One more motion and he’d go for his throat.
Teo took a step forward, and Jerico wanted to turn and watch him, but he couldn’t get distracted. He growled again, hoping Teo would hurry up.
When Azura whined softly, Teo took another few steps, cautiously nearing Jerico and Hugo. “Are you coming, Jerico?”
Coming? He needed to kill Hugo, so he wouldn’t come after Teo again.
Hugo chose that moment to twist around. Jerico went for his throat with a snarl, but Hugo spun, and Jerico’s teeth got buried in his shoulder instead of his
